It was Sansone in Woodbridge on of route 1/9Which dealer?
Congrats!!!! Please post some photos when you take delivery.Just got "the" call from Hilltop Kia in Richmond, CA that my Gravity Grey SX at MSRP is ready for pick up. Placed order the first week of September. Turn time of five months.
Congrats and welcome to the forum!!! You will absolutely love the SX Prestige.Just put the order in today with Ray Skillman Kia (Shadeland/East side) in Indy for an SX Prestige/Nightfall in Gravity Gray with Dune interior. Agreed to pay MSRP, $49,715 (includes destination) + very nominal doc and registration fees (under $250 total). Did it all over the phone in less than 10 minutes with Shawn the general sales manager (initially contacted Christian, a salesman there, based on another forum member's recommendation). Estimated timeframe about 3 months.
This was after getting jerked around for 5 days by Napleton Kia, who refused to give me a price via email/text and started talking about a $5-10k "market adjustment". Could have saved a little more below MSRP by going up the road a bit to this forum's beloved Kia of Muncie (because Costco pricing), but their order timeframe was twice as long and we decided we'd rather pay MSRP and have it sooner for some road trips this summer.
I'll reserve final judgement on which dealer thread Ray Skillman goes into until we get the car and go through the actual purchase process, but so far so good!
I spoke with Carlos w/ Hilltop yesterday, placed my order (and under what I was quoted at another dealer). Thank you again for the information.Ask for Raoul. I’m working with him. He’s been awesome to research and get back to me when he says.
Congrats. The guys at Hilltop have been great to work with. Very transparent and easy to work with.I spoke with Carlos w/ Hilltop yesterday, placed my order (and under what I was quoted at another dealer). Thank you again for the information.![]()
That price would be remarkable. Don't believe you will ever reach that price, dealerships are not budging any because both cars are so popular. I really love the EX in Moss Green. Thinking about just going with what I know a Toyota Highlander.I like this strategy. Only I’m gonna tell them 6K under invoice.
Actually my real strategy is to wait a few months until real discounts (and the Palisade, which I’m also seriously considering) appear. Then I’m gonna search Auto Trader/Car Gurus for the lowest price in the country and ask a local dealer to beat the price.
My goal is 41K max for an SX Prestige (hey, that’s 6K under sticker!), maybe 42.5 for whatever the all-in Palisade is.
That post was from Feb. 2019. Little did I or anyone else know how hot the vehicle was going to be. I’m paying MSRP, and while it’s killing my cheap behind a little bit, that’s pretty darn good for this car right now. That price would be remarkable. Yay glad it worked out! Now the wait beginsI spoke with Carlos w/ Hilltop yesterday, placed my order (and under what I was quoted at another dealer). Thank you again for the information.![]()
I live in Colorado and the dealership never mentioned the mark up. I happened to notice an additional 5,000 on the MSRP listed for a SX and asked what it was, then I was told it was the markup price unless I ordered the car first. One dealership stated it would take 2 moths the other one 5 months. The longer I wait the more research and knowledge I am gaining. That post was from Feb. 2019. Personally, I think both the Telluride and Palisade kill the new Highlander and the now ancient Pilot.

I think that was great.Just bought mine from Lawton Kia in Lawton Oklahoma, although I live in Dallas Texas. The car is a 2021 Telluride S. Most dealers were 3-5k above MSRP around here plus 1-2k in dealer add ons. We got the car, had a few additional options like roof rack, interior ambient lighting, cargo cover, fabric floor mats, mud guards, etc that brought the MSRP to $37,560. On top of that the dealer gave us all weather floor mats, wheel locks, treated the interior and exterior with a protectant coating, added a brake safety feature (rear taillight flashes when braking) and tinted the windows. We purchased the car for for 37k plus applicable fees (TTL). So we were able to get 500 under MSRP plus the add ons. How did we do?

I could really use some help. I am about to order a Telluride EX. At first I was in love with the Moss Green until today I drove a Wolf Grey color which I loved however another 495.00 My question to anyone who has purchased an EX - are there any additions you got that you really did not need which could cut the cost or something you wished you added like the towing package - do you really need the self leveling suspension??? For example, is the nightfall package (1,295) something you could have lived without. The EX premium package is another 1,695 but you cannot get the 20 inch wheels unless you add on the premium package. The MSRP is 39,590 and I am up to 52,617 walk out the door price. HELP??Charlie's Kia, Augusta, ME

I asked what are the dealer adds - they are peak pro tinting (2,495), handling which includes dealer tire rotation, oil changes (598.75), etching on windows (398.00), taxes title 4,130.00, other miscellaneous items, floor mats, illuminated scuff plates....How is anyone supposed to answer that but you? Are you planning to tow something? If so you should get the tow package. Are you satisfied with the chrome trim? Then if you're on a budget shelling out $1300 for Nightfall is probably not a good idea. I'm sure people here can help on price advice or what's included in certain packages, but only you are going to know what you can live without. On that note...Wolf Gray requires Nightfall I believe, so to get Wolf Gray on an EX you're looking at a really hefty premium.
Also...how the heck did you get an EX to 52,617 OTD? Even with towing, Nightfall, and Premium, MSRP is under $44k.
I had my dealer tint my front windows for $128 to match the rest of the car........... Typical dealer BS. Run, do not walk, away from that dealer unless you absolutely have to have it today.I asked what are the dealer adds - they are peak pro tinting (2,495), handling which includes dealer tire rotation, oil changes (598.75), etching on windows (398.00), taxes title 4,130.00, other miscellaneous items, floor mats, illuminated scuff plates....
