14.10 update (November 2020) now available

Since the profile is newly introduced with this update, I am guessing it is not as functional as it should. I would think deleting a profile should have been there. I haven't really looked into it. I just know that if you leave your car off for a while, it will default to driver 1(top profile) versus last selected if you restart your car within few minutes.
 
As I was messing around with the Profile settings, it seems that each profile can be linked to a number of mobile devices, so I guess if there are multiple drivers of the same car, profiles will change based on the connected mobile device. Maybe someone can try this to confirm.

I tried setting my profile with my Pixel 5 as first on the Bluetooth connected list and on my wife's profile to her Pixel 4, however it did not save the settings for each profile separately.

Other way around. It will connect devices based on the driver profile that has been chosen.
 
I was forced to update to Version 14.10 today as I was having major issues with my phone contacts not being imported and also UVO not recognizing voices. I worked with both the UVO team and my local dealer for over month on the issue and it could not be resolved. The final suggestion was to update the infotainment and mapping software from Ver 14.05 to 14.1 and they sent me a free thumb drive update to try.

It ultimately solved the issues, however, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS INTERFACE!! I NOW OWN A BIG KIA SOUL AND not the elegant Telluride with a really nice infotainment system. The fact I can no longer have my own user defined home screen is the most bothersome. That and the fact that there are no SiriusXM channel logos in the presets, and the ugly radio interface that looks straight out of some Back To The Future Movie and the Barney Purple Home Screen that basically does nothing!! If you have not already updated don't make the move or you will be sorry!

Kia should be embarrassed about this update!!
 
Off topic, some what...........That new Genesis SUV 14.5 infotainment looks pretty sleek. Wonder if one can install it in a Telluride.......

Wasn't in mine that I got last month but it will be if you update. I don't get why all the purple though maybe that's their new color scheme going forward?

I'm expecting mine in 2wks, will it come with this update? If not, will dealership do this for me prior to pickup?

If it's not already updated, you will have to do it yourself. This forum has all the steps on how to do it. You will need a flash drive of at least 30GB. Then you will have to go to Navigation Updater | Official Kia Motors Navigation Update Website to download and install on your computer then just follow the instructions given. Once you are ready to update in your car, do not do the full update. Choose quick update because the full update could take close to an hour if not more. Hope this helps
