What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Something is odd with nowcar.com. Trying to build the car, after select Glacial white pearl, SX, prestige, Dune brown (it let me check those options) it keeps saying I have to select seat option from the list that shows only black and gray leather. I know Dune brown is available with Glacial white pearl.

Also, trying to create an account, it asked for PIN number. Am I supposed to receive a PIN number even before I create an account?

Contacted an associate but didn’t get any email back for 2 days even though they said 12 hrs.

I did all this from an iPad so not sure if it’s related.

update: I got the email back. The PIN number is the one I have to create.

Regarding Nowcar, I got a price for an SX which was not MSRP, but not too much over to pass up. That was a month ago. Today I went back and the price had increase another $1500 even though Kia has not raised prices in the last month. So the price you think you are going to get may change when it comes time to order.

Did you put down the deposit the first time after selecting your car/options? I am curious because I canceled mine.

I didn’t feel comfortable With the process on the web site (Not the reason why I canceled). After you put down the deposit on a car with options and payment choice the web site still doesn’t show or confirm the car you are committing to buy Or their acknowledgment of your choice. It’s was still in ”your showroom” as if you haven’t completed the process. All you get is an email confirming your deposit. May be it will once they are ready to put in your order but imagine after several months of waiting for your turn, the price is now up by a few $k over msrp. Overall, It’s an unsettling feeling.

MSRP + tax, title, license + “doc fee” under $90 USD

Lovin’ life now that I’m driving a Kia Telluride AWD V6 SX P/T every day.

I can finally see the sticker on FailCat. MSRP is $50,810. Upgrades over the base price were GWP Paint, NFE, Prestige Pkg, and Illuminated Scuff Plates.
Separately I will order All Weather Mats, Roof Rack Crossbars, and (maybe) overlay badges. Oh, and a black roof wrap if I can convince the wife that it adds value. 🤔

I paid MSRP for an SX prestige. I end up adding on $920 worth of accessories. I did not fly to Buffalo; I end up having the car transported to my home for $599 (Montway). Good thing I did, my sales person got sick and it turned out he had Covid. He is ok now, but I would have arrive to pick up the car a day or two before he started showing symptoms.
What was your impression of Montway? Need to ship my Telluride when it delivers to Kia Muncie in June. That was one of the transport companies I was considering.

Paid MSRP for an SXP/NFE with @DominicI25KIA over at I-25 Kia!

I had to fly from LAX to DEN to pick up the ride and would not hesitate to do it again.

how did you drive home to avoid using just one gear on the highways? I am thinking switching from highway to city streets every hr but that will take a long time to get home, and is one hr on one gear still too long? Any good places to stop and see on the way home?

I also noticed it only took 2 mos for you to get the car from the day you put down the deposit on I25. I am hoping the same.

thx

Life is a highway, except when it’s not.

Telly wants to try out everything: country roads, small town streets and big city lights, big empty snowy/icy parking lots in Sport Mode + Lock and traction control turned OFF, and some light trails that haven’t been rutted out.

Give it everything.

Especially Dune to the Moon 🥳

You paid with Bitcoin?

You paid with Bitcoin?

I paid cash.

You can ask Hilltop Ford/Kia if they accept bitcoin but I didn’t broach the topic.

Kia Telly is my first new car ever.

I normally patiently target slightly-depreciated buyer’s remorse cars (a.k.a. wife didn’t like the color so drove it back to the dealership with only 90 miles or so on the ODO).

Sadly, my brain has been permanently damaged by too many economics and accounting/cost management classes.

I drove it around town a bit as well. 1,300 miles so far and everything still runs fine.

I live about an hour outside of Toronto. Just bought a Telluride SX for $52,300 which is $1140 under MSRP. I was expecting to be waiting 2 months to get it but it turns out they have one arriving early next week from another dealership in the area.

I ordered mine today! Ended up going with the Moss w/Dune Brown SX w/Prestige AWD, $46,215 out the door w/the following accessories at no cost: Illuminated scuff plates, all weather mats w/trunk liner, cargo net, rear bumper protection, and side steps at dealer cost. The rebates I got were the 1000 competitor and 400 military off MSRP. Not much of a discount and I shopped 8 dealers, most had the vehicle priced at an average 5k above MSRP when I see those side stickers I walk away. I did not pay tax as I'm a disable vet in GA. 1.9 @ 60. The nice thing is that the dealer is letting me drive a Sorento SX while the order comes in which is roughly 60 days away.
Which dealer. I live in ga

Paid MSRP + ~$900 "make ready" (tinting, inspection, detailing, nitrogen in tires) at Hurst Moritz Kia near Ft. Worth for an SXP Nightfall. A lot better deal than the $10,000 over MSRP that the Austin Kia dealers are getting away with.

I found a new Telluride EX-P that was exactly what we wanted on Monday, and brought it home on Tuesday. Paid MSRP but agreed to $1299 in paint protection we didn't necessarily want. Tough finding a better deal in the Nashville area, especially on such short notice.

I live in Colorado Springs and the dealership adds 5,000 if you do not special order, also another 500 to etch windows because supposedly high theft and can find car quicker, and a couple of other items when I stated cost for EX was close to 52,000 several in this forum stated to run from these two dealerships. Interested in driving to Denver hopefully to get a better price. I guess I am naïve wondering how one dealership will charge 1140 under MSRP and another one is trying to gouge you. I was told if you find a better price they would match, however I believe they should give you their best price upfront. I'm not going to play one against another. It just makes me feel they are dishonest.

MSRP for EX AWD Wolf Gray/Black, order placed with dealer 15 minutes from home, refundable $1000 deposit (which dealer never actually ran our cc..lol)
ETA is 6/4, so if it holds about 8 weeks from placing order.
The night I drove home from our dealer, I got phone call from another dealer about 45 minutes away, telling me that they had same Telluride EX Wolf Gray on lot, they added $3200 "Lifetime Protection Package" that is non negotiable and mandatory. I said no thanks, we'll wait for our order form our dealer, we're in no hurry. This arrogant salesman told me I didn't know what I was doing, and shouldn't have placed order wirh our dealer, that they lie about telling me 3-4 month wait, and its more like 8 months. Again, I told him no thanks, and stuck with our dealer, who I felt was much more honest.
We will most likely have our Telly at MSRP, and more like an 8 week wait, give or take.
If your not in a hurry, take the the time to find a trustworthy dealer, it will be well worth the wait!
