If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Call Kia of west nyack. Jason is the manager. Tell them Leon sent you. Maybe it’s still there.

Dang. I would have loved your silver!

I just texted the manager. Silver might be available. They definitely don’t go above msrp. Everlasting silver/black interior. I think it’s a $40,520 msrp. Sales guy is calling me. If someone is serious about pulling the trigger, please let me know ASAP. I will be happy to make the intro.

Just put a deposit on an SX without the prestige package but is white with butterscotch interior and has the tow package. Will be here June 23rd or before! Otd price was $44,385

Confirmed. Mine sold BUT they just got an exact one in stock. Going once...going twice...nick is the sales guy. Good guy...if interested.

Funny thing is that so many people on this forum are complaining that they can’t find a car at msrp. And if they did, they would buy immediately. I make one phone call and find one and suddenly...crickets. Just funny to me. This forum seems like a place for most people to just vent...but aren’t actually serious. If the buyer isn’t serious, then the dealer isn’t serious. Don’t mean to insult or accuse here, just speculating on what I am seeing.

I am able to find at MSRP. But, I am in no hurry, and will wait for a dealer to match Costco pricing.

Do the expect the guy to just drop everything and drive to the dealer today? Give it a few days at least. If still crickets, you have a point.

Again. Doesn’t matter to me. But I just went thru the process. When my local dealer got one available, I went in and it took me 3 hours to complete purchase - had to bring in trade in, etc. in those 3 hours, they legitimately received 3 calls of people looking to buy that car. So yes, when people are serious, they pick up the phone and put a deposit and make a deal. Sorry, done ranting. Just trying to help. The market is the market.

I'd have been happy to purchase at MSRP, but not at the markup they quoted.....and that was AFTER $2500 in rebates!

Some people work. Not to mention I’m in Alaska and live in Utah. Pretty good trek form NY. I offered the dealer 2k under msrp plus incentives. Anything less I’m not a buyer. I have cash in hand. How much more serious can you be?

Not serious at all. Below market. They prefer you don’t have cash. They get a kickback from Kia for financing. Ok...now I’m really done. Sorry for expressing my opinion.

Thanks lol. They want to finance that’s fine I can finance and pay it off. I’m easy in that regards. How am I not being serious? Because I want to pay below msrp? I already had some dealers trying to get me to buy since they said no one would sell under msrp. So far 500 under plus incentives. That’s in a day. What’s tomorrow gonna bring?

Which trim level have you been looking for?

UPDATE - Dealer just texted me with an out the door price on the EX at $40,565.

Instead starting at a MSRP of 38,850, he's starting with Market Value Selling Price of 42,849.

You know what the really funny thing is? Everyone is exactly like you. Same market, same credit, same name even. Heck, they have the same job, same spouse, same friends, and even wear your underwear. Think about it, billions of people have been in your underwear you are wearing right now.

Is it possible to get at msrp? Yea. I have 7 dealers with in 50 miles of me. 2 where willing to sell at or below msrp. 2 of 7.

If there was one dealer in 100 miles, then I would say getting msrp would take hours and hours of negotiating. For you, you can just call round, get the best price and seal the deal. From some around here, getting that same deal will not happen until December. Just because you can does not mean everyone can.

Do you want to know why?

NO ONE BUT YOU IS ACTUALLY YOU. BECAUSE YOU CAN DO SOMETHING EASILY, DOES NOT MEAN EVERYONE CAN.
