I’ve had 3 Tellurides so far!

An S FWD in Snow White Pearl (on the right)



Shortly after that I traded for the SWP EX and then wrapped the roof (on the left). Traded that in a month later and below is my newest. Ebony Black SX FWD with Butterscotch interior!



I am a dealership employee but these were not demos. They were all leased by me personally.

I’m not here for sales but happy to answer any behind the scene questions.

I leased my S at the very beginning know the limited supply. The rebates for 24 month lease on an S was near $3K. So plus discounts and what they were selling for, I was in an equitable position. I traded in with about $1500 equity towards an EX. Didn’t plan on selling my EX, so I wrapped the roof in Piano Black as shown in the pic. A customer told one of my sales people “I want your manager’s car”. And there wasnt another Snow White Pearl EX incoming in the entire state. So we agreed to sell mine. I made about $2700 on that one. Minus one payment and minus $830 for the wrap. I netted over $2000 profit in my bank at that point. But I LOVE THE CAR! We got in total about 8 SX’s in this month, so I picked the one we have a duplicate of and hopefully get to keep this one! Lol

Lol I’m at the airport right now, but when I get to my destination and settled in, I can show you my KMF account for my first two. I just got this SX last night so the third account isn’t available yet.

That makes sense. In any other car in the segment you’d be sitting in about $30k negative equity LOL! Just goes to show how ridiculous the market for these babies is. So glad I got mine when I did!!

I’ve been selling cars for nearly 10 years. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve worked for KIA, Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep, Subaru, Mercedes, Acura. NOTHING like this.

You must be in a state that doesn't charge sales tax on the price of the car during a lease - right? Just sales tax on lease payments. We get screwed in Texas because we have to pay tax on the entire vehicle price... less a trade in value I suppose.

Its not that I don’t think you got them. It’s whatever you did that’s shady to come ahead. Someone got hosed on that deal. Anyhow I don’t really care. Just your op sounds more like a nose rubbing than a glad to be here post. I could be wrong. Been wrong lots and I’ll be wrong again.
