Great question. My dealer has not been able to give me any information. They insist that when they call their Kia rep they know nothing either. I believe that’s BS

Yeah same run around here. The default response is to check with the Kia rep or regional manager and not getting any concrete updates.

I ordered my black copper on 3/9. Did anyone order theirs before this date? I do know some showed up at dealerships but I’m wondering about customer orders.

Great news! Were you provided any other information about the vehicle prior from your dealer? I’m going to follow up again now with my dealer.

Absolutely nothing. No information at all. Was really frustrating. Am still frustrated that it will take 4 weeks to ship. Part of me wonders if they are using it at the dealer for test drives.

I doubt it. Test drives can be done with any other model since the driving experience will be the same unless people really want to know what the ride feels like on 20” wheels.

Placed my order 4/16, but changed from Ebony to Black Copper a week later. Going to be a long wait this summer. Congrats on your car Mr. JB! Pictures please so I can dream about my ride...

One day short of 12 weeks. Pictures in the morning. Going back to the dealership in the morning. Nothing wrong just finishing up some paperwork. Car looks cool in bright sunlight. Took a bit to get used to the semi-autonomous driving but it did pretty well. Got home too late for pictures.

I have to admit that this forum really helped me. While at the dealership, we were very knowledgeable on many topics. We knew things about the Telluride and things about production of the vehicle that made us informed buyers. It also helped find things faster when taking our drive home. I just knew where to look to find setup items. So thank you all for sharing the details and your findings. It’s really helped make the wait worth while.

Yes- there was a post in one of the other forums about bass boost and enhanced sound. It really made a difference.

So I changed emblems to the Klexus ones sold by Sal on this website. Saturday early evening we were out and someone asked what the vehicle was. Told them what it was. They liked the color!!!

I have seen the Black Copper twice while looking at the Telluride. Once on a overcast day and it looked slightly different looking than the Ebony black. Like it had a little flat or satin in it. There was no sign of Copper in it. I held up my phone light to it and I could see the Copper flake in it. The other time I saw it there was some sun out you could see the Copper but only when close up. I really want to like this color but so far have not really been impressed.

Its subtle but when my coworkers came out to have a look, they saw the copper tint to it.
