For all you new buyers of Kia Telluride. my 2 cents - DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I have the 2021 SX AWD. Paid 4k extra to get the car. I loved the way the car drove. compared to even the Merc GLB or Pilot. But after 8k miles and 10 months of ownership, I have transformed from a happy customer to a guy with a grin on his face.
The materials in cars are in certain places are sloppy.
1. The door handle cover(where the physical key goes), popped out and wouldn't stay there now.
2. My car broke down 4 weeks back when went to the beach and is still with the service center. They are replacing the transmission (warranty). I am sure none of you want it on any new car, especially when you pay a fat price.
3. The nearest service center was 2 hours away. Roadside assistance was good, but that's about it. If your car breaks down in a remote place, be prepared to wait for help
4. The service center (Kia-Greenbrier) has called me twice in the last 4 weeks. None in the last 2 weeks.
5. Kia does not have parts. If your car does to dealer for repair it will take ages.
6. The KIA customer support is a bunch of nice folks, but they too can't do much after you raise the complaint.
Maybe I am just unlucky with the car. But transmission issue in the car is a complaint that you will see in the other places in the forum.
