What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I put a deposit down on an EX Premium Nightfall and technically paid MSRP but that did include the rear entertainment system, which I didn't want ($1500) and a mandatory Luxcare warranty ($1400). So it feels like 3k over MSRP but I'm theoretically getting something for the money.

All told out the door will be about $52k when it arrives in a month.

u get it yet? what was timeframe they told u? i called yesterday asking about the order process 6-7 months, ouch! but I may do it.
I just ordered a SX Nightfall w/ SX Prestige for $50,510 before tax. Was told it would be 7 months as well. This is about $5000 less than every other dealer in my area who is charging a ton of markup.

Technically still not MSRP, Luxcare is not a Kia build option. However, if you’re willing to accept it.

I ordered mine from Arapahoe Kia in Denver, CO. Since it was an order they do not charge a market adjustment. The cost was MSRP + destination fees as shown on KIA's website + $695. They added no unrequested accessories (I got floor mats, roof rack crossbars, side steps, and cargo tray.) In short, the price out the door was exactly what they told me it would be. I worked with Jakeob Taylor and would happily deal with him again.

It was a non optional "option". It's what this dealership is doing instead of a mark up.

I've read that it might not be a total joke and some folks find the Luxcare treatment good at protecting the interior. Have yet to read anything about the warranty portion being worthwhile though.

What are your taxes? That sounds like a lot for a EXP/N

You're right, that does seem like a lot. That 7% taxes hurts as well as the options I don't actually want.

Here is the cost breakdown:
base msrp: 39790
nightfall: 1395
premium package: 1695 (I think, my picture of the window sticker is a bit blurry)
Tow Package: 795
Carpeted Floor Mats: $210 (I hate paying for these)
Rear Entertainment System: $1,500 (Apparently I can remove this option but I might take them out when it arrives. They seem terrible)
Wheel Locks: $60 (hate paying for this too. Wheel locks are just a pita)
Freight/shipping: $1225

Sticker Total: 46670

Luxcare $1495 (I'd choose to pay maybe $500 if this is legit. I have my doubts. The dealership does this to every car that arrives)

Car subtotal: $48,165
Taxes: $3,376.55
Fees: $586 (I think this is the license plate, registration, etc)

Total: $52,127.55

My ideal Telluride would cost
50K(from Kia site)
SX Trim $44,590
Dark Moss $0
Dune Brown Premium Nappa Leather Seat Trim $295
Cross Bars $310
SX Nightfall Edition Package $1,395
SX Prestige Package $2,300
Destination $1,225

Pre tax total $50,115

tax $3500
Fees $586 (I presume these are the same)

For a total of: 54201 - if this was an actionable option I'd obviously do it instead.
Edit: sigh, maybe I ought to keep looking.

Where do you live that this is not actionable?

Probably "not actionable" in the sense that the dealer would just refuse to remove/discount and then sell it to someone else that is willing to pay for it.

If not actionable in the sense that there is no stock in my area and I can't wait long enough to order one. So my hope is that someone else who ordered one backs out. That's how I got a deposit on the EX.

Ordered my SX-P with Tow Pkg on 9/18. MSRP + Doc Fee ($695) + one random accessory (they told me this after it was ordered and accepted, so I'm at the mercy of Kia picking one). Got the call today that they are expecting delivery on 11/24, give or take a week. That is surprisingly fast, honestly.

Ordered from I25 Kia, north of Denver. Didn't know Arapahoe did MSRP on orders or would've went with them since they are closer (save 45 minute drive time). Still not complaining since it's coming in so soon.

Put your order deets in your signature block. You are probably getting match to an inventory order… wish I could have done that but my wife prefers the aluminum rims over the black. So ordered an EX P

Today, I bought a 2022 SX AWD wolf gray with Nightfall and Prestige package. MSRP was $50,005. The dealer processing fee was $499. The only other extra costs were Connecticut sales tax and registration/title. No requirements for any extras. They asked if I wanted to hear about add-ons and when I said no, they said that's fine and nothing else was ever mentioned.

I bought the car in MA because every dealer in CT, NY and NJ were marking up $7500-10,000 over MSRP and then adding dealer processing fees that were $900-1500. Just the extra sales tax adds another $500-750 to the car price.

I lucked out. I put a $500 deposit last Wednesday and was told it would be 5-7 months. They called me on Thursday and said that exact configuration had come in and the customer had cancelled the order due to financial issues. I said I would take the car and went there today and inspected the car and completed the sale.

Huffines Kia in McKinney, TX is offering 2022 new order Tellurides for MSRP including options (+$1,225 destination charge which is sticker price). No dealer requirements and no dealer markups. They are quoting 3-5 months delivery and they don’t care how you pay, cash, their financing or your financing is same price.

The name of the salesperson who quoted me this is Levani. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on an SX + nightfall + prestige

Have you consider the tow package or tow hitch option for possible towing or bike rack? Some people here have hitch installed after the fact, but it’s not as easy or cost effective.

I don’t want the tow package because I have a truck and I will do all my towing with that.

I don’t tow much, but great for bike rack.

While my F150 does all towing duty, I like all family vehicles to be tow capable, as backups or whatever. I think the Kia upcharge for the factory tow package is actually reasonable.

Looking to order a 2022 EX Nightfall AWD (Wolf Gray)--$500 down for a build. Like many, dealerships had a 10-15k mark up and feel lucky to find one who is at MSRP. $44,979.

What are the odds the dealer will agree to pay $ towards TT&L?
