Good Dealer Dealings - List Your Good Dealer Experience

I want to thank everyone in here for recommending I25 Kia. I live in Cali and placed an order with Nicole on 9/13/21 and was contacted this week about another persons canceled order that matched mine almost exactly. Long story short my “new“ Telly just arrived and should finalize paperwork this week and hopefully shipped to me shortly afterwards. I went to a local Kia dealer a couple nights ago with my s/o so she could really look it over and get approval and I almost fainted when I saw an 18k markup (15k markup with 3400 of crap like nitro filled tires) for every Telly model. I laughed at the salesperson when he asked me if I needed help and walked away from him.

You got lucky. I ordered an SX from i25 on the exact same day(9/13), my ETA is 4 December. Still, worth the wait to not pay an inflated price. A dealer here in Vegas wanted 10k over invoice, I just smiled and said thank you and left

New member here and like everyone else, trying to avoid the crazy mark-ups. Seems like a lot of folks in California have purchased from i25. How many of you did not fly over to see the car in-person? I'm considering just having them ship it to me and just do a video walk-around prior. Should I be concerned about anything?

Thanks in advance.

When did you get your eta? I ordered from i25 on 9/13. I ordered SX as well. I still haven’t received an eta. They said it was “being built” but they have not received an eta from kia yet. I’m just curious when you got your ETA since we ordered about the same time. Thanks

I am from Southern California and ordered from I-25 on 7/14. My ETA is November 11 (was November 6 I believe before the week long plant closure). Just showed up in failcat this morning. I almost had a heart attack as I thought it would never show.

I'm actually wrong by one month. I ordered my SX on 13 August and got the ETA on 13 September. Today I checked and they're still showing an ETA of 4 December

I’m in NorCal and having mine shipped. If it were the summertime I’d drive it back.

Nice. I'm in NorCal as well and placed my order today.

Nicole has been the best - ordered in July. Did all the paperwork in Los Angeles and delivery next week! Very easy with no crazy mark up!

Oh nice, glad it worked out for you.. I am dealing with Nicole,I25 too, tomorrow I am going to pick up my WG Telly. Ordered on 6/24, she offered me almost same config as mine but dealer installed tow instead of factory, if I choose that I could have picked my Telly on 08/07 but I decided to wait for factory installed tow..

Anyone have any decent dealers in the Prescott/Phoenix area?

Last time we ventured into to dealers around here they were 3-5G above MSRP.

Thanks

Ron

Don't know about Phx, but in Tucson, Jim Click wanted 5-10k over (about a month ago) depending on trim level. Royal Kia was doing at MSRP, but no longer taking orders.

I picked my Telluride today. I cannot say enough about the experience at Murray Kia and Roger as my salesperson. I ordered beginning of June. It arrived yesterday. I traded my 18 Nissan Altima. I have purchased a lot of cars over the years so many I have lost count. This was my easiest purchase ever. Total time there was only hour and 15 mins. Highly recommend them.

I too live in the Phoenix area and the only dealership I found that will honor MSRP is Royal Kia in Tucson, but as of yesterday when I spoke with them they are not allowed to place any more orders until some of the 29 already in the queue get picked up by Kia. I reached out to numerous dealers out of state that supposedly stuck to MSRP based on the suggestions in this forum, but kept running into $5-$8k markups.

Finally, I spoke with Chris Atwood at I25 Kia today (30 miles north of Denver) and just placed my order. They do have a $695 dealer fee, which I was happy to agree to after 20+ experiences with inflated pricing. $500 deposit and if I want it shipped (vs. flying there and driving back) the cost is $1,200.

Looks amazing, congrats on the easy transaction! My second color choice is WG, I'm still having second thoughts every time I see one. But then I imagine myself looking at someone else's Dark Moss, and I'm all good.

Enjoy the drive, this truly is one of the most comfortable vehicles I've ever driven. Doesn't hurt that it looks like a million bucks. Earlier I was getting gas and a guy in a Maserati convertible drove by slowly....we looked at each other and nodded at each other's car.

My first order was dark moss then I read somewhere it was hard to keep clean, so when I reordered I did the wold gray. I have gotten a few stares so far, at my regular sub shop, I walked into today she was like that is quite the upgrade from your other car 😂. It is definitely a comfy ride, the speakers are sooo much better than my Nissan.

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum and very happy to be here. I am looking to purchase my Telluride this month or the next, depending on the possible deals for Thanksgiving. My local dealer here in Las Vegas, Findlay KIA, is telling me that the markups are for the vehicles they have in the lot and you can always order your car with them and the markup does not apply.
Are you guys aware of this process? Based on the KIA USA website where you can build your Telluride, my 2022 SX with Espresso interior FWD comes out at $42,690 before tax.
I see a lot of you recommending i25Kia in CO. Is it worth it for me to go through them? Do they have better deals than this? Any info and numbers would be greatly appreciated. I am going to attach the screen shot of the Telluride I built on the website.
