Huffines Kia in McKinney, TX is offering 2022 new order Tellurides for MSRP including options (+$1,225 destination charge which is sticker price). No dealer requirements and no dealer markups. They are quoting 3-5 months delivery and they don’t care how you pay, cash, their financing or your financing is same price.

The name of the salesperson who quoted me this is Levani. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on an SX + nightfall + prestige

I put a deposit on one that was "coming in" in October. It had all the features I was looking for. Probably one the dealer had on order. Not exactly sure. The dealer did not have a VIN number so the vehicle was not even built. I worked with Alexis and she was very helpful. I made the deposit on 9/2/21. The VIN showed up on failcat.com on 9/29/21. Got a call on 10/09 the car was at the dealership and picked it up on 10/10. I really have no idea how long the wait might have been if I had just ordered one at the beginning of September. Just lucky I guess that the vehicle was already on order. I hope this helps. Hope you can be as lucky as I was.

Good morning, first time post on here and great site. I just ordered an AWD wolf gray SX with premium package at MSRP - how times have changed.... Should be in around the new year, anything I should be doing/looking out for during this stage?

Here’s a screenshot the dealer sent me as there’s no vin yet as the vehicle won’t start production for a couple weeks. I’m not keen on the lighting kit, or the floor mats and asked if they could be removed but was told no. This doesn’t make sense since neither are installed at the factory. Can someone enlighten me?

Sorry, wasn't clear on this. There's no window sticker or vin yet as the vehicle didn't start production. He sent that to me to show me what is on the vehicle and then wrote in the interior light kit with price. He said once it goes into production he'll send me the details. My question is on the light kit and floor mats, because they're not installed at the factory, why can't I remove them?

You can't be forced to get accessories you don't want. I know the dealerships like to push 3 accessories per vehicle because Kia is trying to make the extra buck. Just tell them at signing you aren't paying for it

Are you sure that you ordered or did you put a deposit on an already incoming order? Based on your previous posts, it doesn't seem like you ordered before the October KFOS closed, thus a VIN cannot be created within the next couple of weeks because the order could not have been accepted yet. If you actually did order, the dealer should provide you with a screen shot of the KDealer form where they entered your order into the system. That will show all options that you ordered.

Are you sure this is the case. I asked if I could replace them with other accessories (tow hitch, cross bars) and he said once it's created, it's set.

Sounds like he's showing you what was already assigned to the order. If, in fact, the light kit is actually dealer installed, you might get that removed. If the factory adds it, you get it. And the factory has, in the past, added accessories to an order that weren't requested. It's not common, but it does happen.

That's not the order, it's representative of the equipment on the incoming order that he doesn't have a sticker or vin for yet. I would like the factory tow hitch and he said Kia doesn't allow him to change the order. Have others in my same scenario been able to modify an incoming order?

If the order is already incoming that likely means it's already in Kia's production queue and can't be changed.

The dealers take what they can get and sell them as Kia gives them to them. They are trying to get as many as they can so asking them to change cars that are being built isn’t something likely to happen. In normal times getting a Telluride exactly how you want it was hard. Now with no inventory on lots just getting one is a huge Win!!!

Ordered the Telluride SX Prestige w/NF in WG on 9/19, picking up 11/2, for 56.8. Friendly Kia in New Port Richey.

I must have called about 20+ dealers hunting for the best price. Lowest one I found was in GA for 54.2 but it was a 6-7 month wait. Some dealerships were charging 10k over…I lol’ed, and hung up.

I figured paying 2k over MSRP and getting a 40$ Uber to pick up my car (I’m in Tampa) is worth the up charge instead of arranging travel to GA and waiting over half a year.
All in all I’m pretty happy so far. What do you guys think, decent deal?

Just got off phone with Friendly Kia. They are charging 4700 over MSRP. This includes the $2000 market adjustment and the 2700 for protection stuff. That’s for non residents of Florida people buying. So needless to say. I canceled the two vehicle purchase.

Just picked up today at Hendrick Cary, NC KIA. I got wheel locks and the factory tow package, that was it for options. Finance guy was a PITA, otherwise, everyone was very nice. I was told they are now limiting orders to NC and surrounding states only.

Supply and pricing seems to be getting tighter.

Wait, what? I know there is no state income tax in TN, but no sales tax for active duty. I literally just bought my vehicle in Memphis 2 days ago and paid what sales tax was left over after the reduction from my trade in. How did you swing this?
