What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

How much Fees + Taxes can I expect to pay for 30076 code for SX telluride ? I am planning on moving from to Alpharetta soon. I totally don't understand TAVT and their taxation system in Georgia.

Agreed! I will talk to the GM and close it. Other issue is that rest of the dealers within 100 miles radius are asking for 4K-8K markup over MSRP, and I am thinking to negotiate on the add-ons and close the deal in my favor.
Hey there! Thinking about ordering from Hendrick, but curious how this situation evolved?

I just ordered mine from Lucas Boehm at Kia of Muncy Indiana for $1200 under MSRP Costco pricing for SX Prestige AWD towing in Gravity Grey/black interior plus $400 former military incentive minus $200 dealer administrative fee plus sales tax. I live in Seattle, so will ship it in an enclosed truck for $2500 from Indiana to Seattle or $1600 if I do the shipping myself in a non-enclosed truck. Even with $2500 shipping, this is still about $1000 cheaper because of taxes/fees than what I was able to get in Washington State ($2000 above MSRP from Kia of Pullayup with 20 year/200,000-mile Limited Powertrain Warranty). Lucas quoted wait time as 7-8 months. I called every dealership in Washington state (Lee Johnson Kia at $3000 was the next cheapest for factory orders), and most in in nearby Montana, Utah, Idaho, Oregon etc., but couldn't get close to MSRP for a factory order.
I hear you. I went with Lee Johnson, because they were quoting 2-4 months out with their price. Kia of Everett was much faster but WAAAAYYYY too expensive of a price. I was thinking about ordering from somewhere else; but was concerned about the shipping. How long is the wait with the dealership you went with? I couldn't find any dealerships in Washington that would do Costco pricing either. Good luck. I will head north to BC after it arrives to get that Canadian Cargo Cover though.

Yea, I very nearly bought from Lee Johnson Kia. I actually live less than a mile from the Lee Johnson Kia dealership, so could have literally walked there to pick up the car. The Indiana dealer was 6-7 months out, similar to Kia of Pullayup. It's going to be another ski season of winter roads in a Honda Odyssey with no AWD and no clearance. A week ago I was up at Mount Baker, on an isolated forest road going to a hiking trail with 3 young kids and had to put on the chains for snow during the atmospheric river in freezing rain/snow slush, took me like an hour, and was stupidly wet and cold. The next day I got a flat and had to put on the donut to drive from Bellingham home to Seattle/Kirkland because none of the tire places were open Sunday night. Was thinking to myself that saving 3 thousand, with all the complications shipping, will not be worth the extra 3 months wait if I have to go through this again. My wife also brought that up :). What is the name of the Canadian Cargo Cover? There's also a Canadian liner/mat people like.

SX AWD Gravity Grey w/ BLK int, Prest, Towing, Mud Guard, Bump Prot.
Ordered: 11-3-21
Dealer: Kia of Muncy

Sorry, it is the Canadian cargo liner not cover. The additional $3k is not fun; but better than some of the other dealerships. Figured it was worth it to me.

Dealer fees vary, but usually an estimate of $1K will cover it for most dealers. TAVT will be roughly 6.6% of the vehicle sale price.

Starting Shopping about 4 weeks ago for my wife. Was trying to find one by the end of the year to swap her out of her 2021 Camry XSE Hybrid to something AWD for winter.

Almost all Dealers in Metro Detroit Area were 5k over sticker. Offered a few 2500 over and none would budge.

I stalked Kia's website section for coming soon and found mine. I called on quite a few of these most were sold already even though it shows coming soon.

This dealer was 2900 over sticker but they gave you the interior warranty and the paint warranty plus Theft Advantage or whatever its called, looks like it similar to gap insurance. So at least it went towards something.

I got a Glacial White SXP Nightfall with Tow Package, Wheel Locks, Carpeted Floor Mats.

49,845 MSRP
1,225 Inland Frieght
51,070
2,900 Dealer Markup

53,970 plus Tax

Put deposit down on 11/18, estimated delivery date 12/2 (did not come in today)

I think I know the dealer you are talking about (the 2900 markup). I also called every dealer in Detriot and they wouldn't budge on the 5k markup

Honestly that is a great “I need it now” price. So congrats!

I think know this dealership as well. If i am correct, i was also looking at this exact vehicle but wouldn’t pay the market price. Ended up ordered from a dealership 70 miles at msrp. Let me know if you need the contact info.

Ordered my Telluride about a month ago from Hendrick Kia in Cary, NC for MSRP. I would have never thought buying at MSRP being a "deal" but in this mkt it is. 2022 Model S AWD in Black Copper w tow hitch and mud guards for $39,600 including destination fee. This dealer is only a few miles down the road from me too. Unfortunately they said they won't sell to buyers from out of state.

Thinking about placing an order with them. Was the process pretty smooth?

It was eerily simple. The sales rep told me if I want one to pick out my options online and call them back with what I want. The price online is what I am paying, no haggling or anything, and will be made to order. It's $1000 deposit which is refundable if I want to cancel at any time even at time of delivery. The biggest downside is a 5-6 month wait and unknown trade in value of my car until delivery or near delivery. Miljan, the sales rep, was straight forward, I told him I was interested in the S model and he didn't pressure me or try to up sell. My understanding is they're moving a lot of volume by keeping prices at MSRP and can get at the front of the line on orders by doing this and it's doing right by the customer. Across the street at the used car lot was a 2020 Telluride SX with 20k miles for $55k which is more than new one; I guess people just can't wait.

I'd pull the trigger, worst case scenario is you decide to back out after waiting with nothing lost but time and best case is you get in line for a great vehicle at the best price you'll find nationwide.

Bought Friday at Jim Ellis Kia in Kennesaw, GA. I shopped all around the Atlanta area and everyone was charging MSRP + $5,000-$7,500 and were not budging. I went with Jim Ellis for 2 reasons:
  1. Their $5K mark-up included lifetime powertrain warranty, window tinting with lifetime warranty, 3 year fabric and paint coverage, 3 year key replacement, nitrogen filled tires, and door edge guards and door cup guards. I would never buy a package like that, but all of the other dealers were charging $5K-$7.5K and including nothing extra. With that lifetime powertrain warranty, I guess this vehicle will be with us until the grave.
  2. They had one arriving in the color we wanted and in AWD which was our only real must have. We really didn't want to wait 3-6 months for a special order.
Jim Ellis does not let people put a deposit on a car unless you order it directly from Kia. For stock cars, it is first come first served when it hits the lot. My salesman texted me Friday morning. By the time I was looking at the vehicle, there were 2 other customers waiting for me to decide if I wanted it or not.:p

I ended up with a S trim AWD in Gravity Gray with gray interior. With the options it came with (floor mats, cargo cover, auto-dimming mirror with HomeLink, interior lighting, mud guards, and front skid plate), the MSRP was $38,920. Add $1,225 for destination charge, $5,089 for the warranty package disccussed above, $699 normal dealer fee, plus tax, title, and tag and it was $49K out the door. Sounds ridiculous until you ask a few dealers what they can put you in a used Telluride for and get quotes of $53K-$62K.

I worked with Bryson at Jim Ellis. They were great throughout the process, and even threw in lifetime car washes.
