We ordered thru i25 -
order placed - Jun 2nd
in KFOS - Jul 15
in Failcat - Sept 14
original delivery quoted as 11/3, actually showed up on dealer lot 10/20
we ordered an EX AWD non-prestige with Tow in case the build makes a difference to allocation

I believe KFOS opens 1x a month around mid-month. Once in KFOS dealer can give you an ETA, but no VIN yet. The date is apt to move around a bit during the process. Our salesman was great and sent us a weekly text with an ETA during the whole process, so we were kept up to date.

Thanks! That helps a lot. I placed my order on Oct 12th so hoping for good news in a few weeks.

You and I ordered the exact same car! So you have good taste for sure! Mine actually arrived to the dealer about 5 days ahead of the ETA. The WG with Butterscotch looks terrific IMHO.

I assumed you ordered from i-25 but maybe you didn't. I actually ordered before you and your ETA was 3 weeks earlier than mine. Would be interested to know who you ordered from.

Another shoutout to Dominic at I25 Kia in Longmont, Colorado. Just picked up my Telluride a few days ago and couldn't be happier! Took a little under 1.5 hours at the dealer to get in and out and through financing (1.9% - 60 months) and I was on my way.

Gonna throw out Gossett Kia Covington Pike in Memphis TN as a great place to work with. Kia in Clarksville where I live wanted a significant ‘market adjustment’ even for ordered vehicle so we elected to make the drive to Memphis instead. Got ours ordered for MSRP and they took our used Telluride at the price we asked for which brought our sales tax down to such a negligible number that the total value on trade in was equal to having sold it for the private buyer price we got quoted in elsewhere.

Anyone at Gossett that you could recommend?

Worked almost exclusively with Quincy Odom. Highly recommend. If ordering like I did, he was more than willing to check on order status whenever requested with the ordering manager who was responsible.

Here’s my story:
So folks, I followed all your suggestions and placed a factory ordered of my Telluride on Oct 14th with Kia on Muncie and I25 Kia, both with a $500 deposit and wait times of 6 months and 4 months respectively.

Later, I read about John Plewka at Classic Kia. So I picked up the phone and spoke to John and told him my preferred vehicle which is EX with Wolf Gray and Nightfall and Tech package. I was also told about 4 month waiting time. And said there’s a possibility that if someone cancels the similar model and trim I could get it earlier than that.

Guess what! 2 days later I got a call from John and said that there’s and incoming vehicle someone cancelled with exact color and packages, and if I wanted to grab it. I said “Hell Yeah” and paid the deposit right away.

And just like that with in 15 days of our conversation just yesterday, I flew to Waukegan from DC and picked up the car. Drove back to home in DC in my new Telluride. The whole process at Classic Kia was smooth and John took good car of us while we were there and also completed most of the paper work even before our arrival. He was very patient in explaining all the features of the vehicles and even setup the whole user profiles for me and my wife and even Uvolink on our phones and new vehicle. John even arranged Uber pickup for 3 of our family members from O’Hare airport.

I can’t thank you folks enough for guiding me in right direction and reaching me to John. He is a superstar.

Today being my birthday, I’m so happy to grab this beauty just a day before.
