Green Kia in Springfield, Illinois were great. $500 deposit was later applied to vehicle purchase. Paid MSRP. Outside 100 miles is $3k over MSRP. Smooth process.
Becks, I'm also from Charleston, SC and checking around dealers for a vehicle to order. How did you end up finding yours from this dealer? From your remarks it doesn't seem like you factory ordered your own? Any help would be appreciated.Just picked up my beautiful Telly from Ricart Kia in Groveport, OH (Columbus) and they were AMAZINGLY wonderful to work with. I worked with Adam Hyer (Internet Sales manager) and Robert Pardon (sales). I put my name on an incoming order that was what I was looking for (floor mats, mudflaps and cargo liner added but I was fine with all of those), no deposit required, waited just under 2 months. He kept me 100% informed of when the VIN appeared, when ETAs changed and what my total would be. Any email or text I sent was answered instantly. It came in early. He told me I had to be there within 24 hours once it arrived - but I had already agreed to this and since they were being kind to sell to someone out of state (which I get some dealerships don't love to do cause they want to build relationships/customers). MSRP, only tried to sell me Weathertech mats (at a good price too). Added free lifetime powertrain warranty. Everyone I interacted with there was kind and honestly excited for me. I did not need financing so can't speak to that. Just wanted to recommend the dealership and the salespeople I worked with, they were all great.
Nutley Kia used to. Check them out.Hello Everyone,
I am from the NYC area.. anyone know any positive dealership here or in the NJ area offers MSRP. Trying to order a SX and it’s so bad some NYC dealers mark-up their prices cause they can. Thank you!
I contacted Nutley in Oct they said they didn't do orders anymore... unless they wound up doing it again. I just ordered in Murray kiaNutley Kia used to. Check them out.

I'm telling you.. car dealers have LOST THEIR MINDS. 98% of them should be classified as INSANE. It's like the Wild Wild West. At least Jessie James had a gun! There comes a point, truly, IMO, that people are being taken advantage of. Not just on cars but homes, appliances, goods in general. My 2 cents.Nutley Kia used to. Check them out.
I ended up ordering from sussman kia back in august and still haven’t had my car picked up so I don’t recommend them. I25 seems to be the go to for most. I placed an order with them as well and have faith that I’ll get that car before I get the one from sussmanHello Everyone,

Could you send me Donovan’s information? In talks with another person at Peak Kia and he won’t agree to a solid price. Some backstory:
I live in the Texas panhandle. If you're not familiar with the vastness of this place, we live about as close to Dallas as Denver. Outside of our local dealership the next nearest Kia place is almost 2 hours away.
When I got serious about buying I contacted over two dozen dealerships in DFW, Albuquerque, OKC, the TX panhandle, and SW Kansas. Markups for Tellurides were anywhere from $0 (Moritz Kia in DFW) to $10,000. Order times were consistent (3-5 months).
Contacted Colorado Springs Kia dealerships only because we were going to Great Wolf Lodge for my son's birthday. Peak Kia in Colorado Springs was who we ended up going with. $699 markup which was considerably lower than the average of $5,000.
Initially spoke with Ben Ohman over the phone. He was excellent and considered all we were looking for. Said they had a Telly coming in that someone else had ordered but decided to buy something else. Put down a deposit to hold it until we could get up there to finalize the deal.
Once there, we showed up and Ben wasn't in at the time. Met with Donovan Hollie instead. Donovan was absolutely the best to work with. Made the entire experience a pleasure. He transitioned us to Steve Simpkins in finance to go over that part, and Steve was as personable as you can get. Great guy and ZERO pressure to upsell. Once finalized, Donovan stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was good and stressed to contact him with any questions or issues.
It was a long drive (actually 2 round trips since the Telluride needed tinting and clearcoat protection), but I'd do it again in a heartbeat. The entire staff was professional, polite, and helpful. We worked with Donovan more than anyone else and if I could make a list of qualities I'd want in a car salesman he'd check all the boxes. Fantastic salesman and even better person.
TL,DR--I can't recommend Peak Kia in Colorado Springs, and specifically Donovan Hollie enough!
Surprised you got msrp or close to from peak kia. They were trying to charge me like $6500 over. Stay away from Brody at peak kiaCould you send me Donovan’s information? In talks with another person at Peak Kia and he won’t agree to a solid price.
Thanks and congratulations!
Update. I asked for my deposit back and Ken said it could take 48h for “it to show up” and then asked for credit card statement “to make sure it went through initially”. I promptly showed him the charge and kindly told him he would not have even processed my order if it didn’t go through. Less than 48h after the back and forth, my cc was credited!Great looking car, congratulations! Did you have any problems getting your deposit back from Lev?
Hope you have as solid an experience as I did:Could you send me Donovan’s information? In talks with another person at Peak Kia and he won’t agree to a solid price.

If they are known to be adding a markup now, should they still be listed in this thread?Ed Voyles Kia in Chamblee.
I got in before they started adding a markup to MSRP to order. David Bernal actually suggested ordering to me on the phone when I first called and was pleasant and responsive the whole way through. Today we picked the car up and the process was painless. He walked us through everything on the car, there were no unpleasant surprises in the paper work, and the finance department went smoothly and did not push back when we rejected all of the extra coverages. If you are looking for someone to work with in Atlanta I found David to be fantastic and the experience was painless.
I’m only making a quantitative post about my experience which was terrific. Given the current market if you say anyone who bumps MSRP is bad there may not be many dealerships you can discuss. If they are known to be adding a markup now, should they still be listed in this thread?

My guess is he may have been burned before and/or just has done so many he can’t keep them straight and didn’t think I would produce so quickly and figured I would give up. But that’s all speculation and I’m grateful to have received my deposit!Thank you for the update. Kind of strange that he would ask for confirmation the charge went through, but happy to hear you got the deposit back.
