What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Yesterday we paid MSRP plus 898 dealer prep fee nonsense. SXP Wolf Gray AWD Nightfall. Local credit union 2.29% @72mos. No forced accessories Bought the rubber mats from parts. Got 100K 10 year BtB for $1671. Mortiz Kia. Ft. Worth

I placed an order for a 2022 Wolf Grey Kia Telluride SX + Nightfall here in Hawaii and have agreed to pay $60k. It takes 3-6 months to arrive. Would love to find a better deal than this anywhere. I head that the PNW offers these babies at MSRP or near that. Can anyone point me in the direction of one? Even if I pay for shipping to HI, it'll still be $2k. Better than $10k over MSRP. TYIA.
Several stores on the mainland with less than $1k markup over MSRP working with out of state buyers.

I’ve been inquiring with different Kia dealers on the mid to west coast.

“At this time we are only selling to Arizona residents.” This came from Courtesy Kia. Not sure if anyone else has experienced this.

Paid $48,835 sticker Telluride SX AWD Prestige without nightfall Gravity Gray with Dune Brown. Cargo cover, carpeted floor mats and wheel locks. Had no idea below sticker was still a thing except with Ford.

I also think they are charging above MSRP as well.

$47,138. 2022 Telluride SX GWP/Butterscotch.

Wolf Gray. Changes color slightly depending on the light. Several folks in other high end makes asking about the color. Pantone COTY.
It’s the color that spoke to me the most, honestly. And I’ve noticed that most other gray colored cars have some other hue in it. But the Kia wolf gray is solidly flat gray. No hue of lavender or green, blue, or red.

I got really lucky yesterday! Put a deposit down on an incoming unit at Hart Kia in VA. They only charged MSRP plus a $588 doc fee. It’s an EXP FWD with Tow. I had been on the hunt for an AWD SX, so I certainly compromised. But, I feel like the EX is still pretty packed with options, and I live in the South so truly didn’t NEED AWD. Also, did not want to wait 6+ months for an SX. Dealership seems to be pretty well rated. ETA was the end of January.
Picked up my new Telluride on 2/9 from Johnny Ford at Hart Kia. Cannot recommend them enough. The process when I got to the dealership was quick and smooth, no hidden add ons and got a very fair first offer on my trade in. Well worth the 4 1/2 hr drive from Upstate SC. Love the new ride so far.

Yeah I overpaid. I went into the dealership to place an order on what I wanted (estimated time to wait 8 to 12 months) and they told me they had an unspoken for 2022 SX AWD WG/Night/tow w expresso coming in next month (end of march) for 52290 but I also had to purchase the plan A ultimate protection plan for 2536. I pulled the trigger. I put down 500. What's done is done.

Smart. I live in the upstate as well and the dealers here are a joke

I just found this forum and I had no idea that you could actually get MSRP anywhere. I am prospectively buying an S AWD at a dealer near my home in northern VA. After talking to a lot of nearby dealers (some of which had nothing coming in) and hearing a lot of ridiculous markups, finding one that was only marked up $4k seemed like a good deal. But now I don't know. I have an S AWD (no add ons) reserved in dealer allocation, should be arriving within a month. Total advertised price with the markup is $42,275. I know this sounds like a terrible deal, but comparable vehicles with no markup are still more expensive. I'm looking at a Subaru Ascent Limited, which is basically the same as the S but with real leather and a panoramic sunroof, that has an MSRP of $44k. I don't think real leather and a panoramic sunroof are worth an extra $2k.

Unfortunately I need the car yesterday - I guess I should have ordered one when my wife was only 3 months pregnant. Does anyone know of a dealer in VA, PA, NJ, DE, or WV that will sell out of allocation for less than a $4k markup?

After calling/emailing many dealerships I finally ordered my EX Nightfall Moss Green on Friday (2/11/22). I’m glad I checked around bc I got it for MSRP from Halleen Kia in North Olmsted, Ohio. He said they are usually getting them in 4 months but wrote up 6 to not set high expectations.

They asked for a $500 refundable deposit. The only thing that seemed different from what I’ve seen on here is that they told me I had to finance through Kia, no third parties. Is Kia credit pretty aggressive with their rates?

I ordered a 2022 Kia Telluride S model. I paid $38,445.02 and that is tax and everything out the door. We added no options . We paid $36630MSRP + $499doc fee+ 16.50+ tax.

I feel like $42,275 is too much for a model S AWD. I‘d crawl through this thread to find info on a dealership in your region charging a better price.

Interesting. When I spoke with Halleen, they never mentioned the financing requirement. That would worry me because I know I can get good rates through a couple different credit unions and if the rate Kia Finance charges is even a half a point higher, it negates the advantage of getting the car at MSRP.

I ended up going with Kia of Bedford because I was able to snag an unclaimed vehicle from their allocation. I know I am paying more than MSRP, but I can lock in a low APR, get a 2022 before the price increase coming with the 2023s, and have it to drive for Spring Break (and summer beach/college drop offs). All that made it worth it to me.

I wonder if you could tell them you would use Kia Finance only if the rate is as good as you could quote elsewhere. That said, my personal experience is the Kia Finance rate is insanely good.

Yeah it was weird because I’ve been following this whole Telluride saga for a few years and don’t remember ever seeing this requirement. It mostly benefits Kia verses the dealership so I wonder if it’s a trade off for larger allocation? At any rate I’m putting down a decent down payment so it shouldn’t be too costly if they give me a higher rate. We’ll see…
