If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I wonder if you could tell them you would use Kia Finance only if the rate is as good as you could quote elsewhere. That said, my personal experience is the Kia Finance rate is insanely good.
Thanks that’s good to know. Hopefully this is the only oddity of my buy.

It mostly benefits Kia verses the dealership
I think it's fairly common for car finance arms to offer dealers incentives to use their financing. so I'm guessing this dealer gets some kind of bonus for steering customer to Kia Finance.

You can go refinance at your own bank the next day, most banks don't charge anything to refinance your car, in fact some have incentives to do just that.

I refinanced mine from a 3.33% with Kia to a 2.79% through Arkansas Federal Credit Union and got 90 days to first payment.

I am planning on doing the same thing...financing with KIA and then refinancing immediately with whomever.......most important question I need to remember to ask is if there is a prepayment penalty.

Local credit union beat 72 mo Kia rate. 2.29% @72.

I ordered a 2022 Kia Telluride S model. I paid $38,445.02 and that is tax and everything out the door. We added no options . We paid $36630MSRP + $499doc fee+ 16.50+ tax.
$499 doc fee? Ouch. We paid $150 doc fee at Mortiz Kia Ft. Worth.

We left the dealer at 2.79 @72 with Wells then switched the next to a lower rate with a local credit union.

Yeah I overpaid. I went into the dealership to place an order on what I wanted (estimated time to wait 8 to 12 months) and they told me they had an unspoken for 2022 SX AWD WG/Night/tow w expresso coming in next month (end of march) for 52290 but I also had to purchase the plan A ultimate protection plan for 2536. I pulled the trigger. I put down 500. What's done is done.
Cancel the PP. That's too much. But the PP from Kia of Muncie.

Is 2.29% the credit union? If so, what was Kia’s proposed rate?

Yes lower rate is CU. Finance manager offered 4% + before he knew we already had our loan approval. Hell Nah! My wife is 850 score.

Oh man, that must be the reason they won’t let me finance through a third party up front. Looks I’ll be refinancing. Thanks for the info.

Wondering about expectations for price off msrp—my dealer is now taking orders but will only do it for msrp. Any ideas about negotiating price or expected rebates/incentives? Are other Kia models discounted much?
You’re going to be looking at at least $10,000 over sticker price right now! Tellurides’s are super hot right now and highly sought after. It’s the law of supply and demand!!😳🤷🏻‍♀️😳

As far as I know, there is no early repayment penalty with kia finance!

I was just at a local Kia dealership looking at a new Telluride Nightfall SXP and the sticker had a “market premium” extra of $12000 on top of the total MSRP price. I was in shock. I know inventory is limited but this seems ridiculous.

There is no penalty. You can pay off the vehicle in the first installment.

Aaron with Van Griffith Kia in Texas just helped me submit my order for a Wolf Grey SX Prestige Nightfall with Dune Brown interior. Just shit of 52k or about 800$ over msrp and the 800 includes window tinting. It will take about 7 months and I will have it shipped to Florida. Highly recommend him. The guy in Muncie Indiana was 800$ cheaper but he was sure the wait would be closer to a yea

Several dealers across the country selling for MSRP now with a wait of course. Got our SXP Nightfall at MSRP last week Moritz Kia Ft. Worth.
