• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... The KIA Telluride in Black Copper

If only that stop in Cleveland was to drop my black copper off.

:/

I think that might be ours! Dealer just texted with my VIN but didn't give a firm date. Just that it was due in close to the end of the month.

Got a call this morning that my Black Copper AWD SXP with brown dune leather with towing is in transit. Ordered on March 21. She is headed to new home near Dallas, Texas. So hopefully yours is on a truck also.

Picked up the Telluride today. Very happy with the color choice, it looks amazing. It really does. Within the first mile of driving, a guy in a pickup truck started honking at me. At the red light he told me he ordered his 1 month ago! This car gets some attention. The teenage valet at dinner said it was bad ass.
I visited those guys at Library Kia and they tried to sell me an ex that I didn't want. They also would not deal on anything but MSRP for pricing. What options did you get and what did you pay before incentives? I ordered my Cooper Black SXP through the Costco program for $700 off MSRP.

The dealer told me they are not making anymore Black Copper with Dune Brown prestige package models. I don't know why, has anyone heard similar?
Picked mine up last night and absolutely love it!

I also asked my dealer about production being halted for the Black Copper/Dune Brown and was told the same.

They’re not taking anymore orders for this color combination because they just aren’t able to produce quickly enough. Eventually they will be taking orders again. They didn’t know when that would be though. All existing orders taken will be produced.

Got a call and my Telluride hit the lot this morning. Picking it up in the morning. Pictures will follow
Took 96 days for mine to get to lot from ordered date. Mine is Black Copper AWD SXP with Nappa Brown Dune Leather with towing. It could have been the Brown leather or towing that held my ordered from getting to dealer sooner. Anyway picking it up at 10 AM in the morning.

Got my Telluride yesterday and the Black Copper really pops in the sun where you can see the copper flakes in the paint. Pictures don't do it justice, you really need to see in person. Anyway here are a few pictures. Will share some more when it gets later in the day. Waited 96 days and finally glad the wait is over.

Here are a few of our Black Copper SX. We bought rubber mats throughout from KIA.

Nice photos! Where did you go to do the ceramic coating?

Thank you.

Auto geek. Net

Blackfire Pro Ceramic. It's held up great on my stinger for a year, so I went with it again. Very easy to apply and maintain.

I need to give this a try. How thorough did you have to be with the washing? I was watching a video and the prep work seems like a lot. The clay bar, decontamination process. I would think just a good car wash and then applying this ceramic product would be enough since our Tellurides are still so new.

There is a much better option than a clay bar. I use a Nanoskin towel.

Then, I used my DA polisher. Then I washed it again and dried it thoroughly before applying the Ceramic coating.

Took about three hours all in all.

Not bad at all! Thanks dude.

All of these look fantastic, I love the color in pictures and everyone keeps saying it's better in person.

We are beginning to get frustrated, we have a VIN and the delivery date was supposed to be June 29th. Now even through the car was reported as being in the Cleveland area (~30 minutes away from dealer). No call from the dealer yesterday even though they had intended to send a person to "put hands" on the car to make sure it was where it said it was.

Kia needs a better system for tracking these deliveries.

I bet both you will get call by Tuesday saying your car is on the lots. I sure hope so for I know how waiting is. Can't wait to see your beautiful rides. Just think of it this way, your day is closer each day. Be safe and enjoy the new ride
