• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

No power 2nd/3rd rows? Another big miss, and kinda inexcusable since the Palisade has them.

I’m personally fine with this. Total gimmick in my mind. It takes longer for the seats to fold down vs. just pulling the strap and boom they’re down. I get that the power feels more “upscale” but I just don’t think it’s functional.

I am glad to see a black interior with black headliner, however.

The update of the USB ports from A to C is a very welcome change.
Why? I feel like USB A is so much sturdier. I've had lots of issues with USB C connectors going bad on me that I've never had with USB A.

Faster charging and most devices use USBC now. The USB a is god awfully slow in the current kia

USB C can support up to 20 volts vs USB A can do up to 5 volts. Plus I think the wattage is significantly higher on C. Larger devices and more devices requiring more power in the future will need C. I think the USB C standard also prevents device overcharging.

USB A can get up to 10 watts. I'd be surprised if Kia set these up to do more than that. Just because they changed the connector doesn't mean they changed the output.

Most likely they did. They bumped up the wireless charger to probably match the palisade. 5w to 15w. I can't imagine they would leave the USBC ports behind.

I agree, especially when you you loose about 2 cubic feet of cargo space for the mechanism.

I'm surprised at all the X line additions. Was the Tellurides main market over the last 3 years really off road type people? Were people buying Tellurides just to jack them up and take them rock climbing? Were people adding snorkels to these things?

So the black grille is part of the XLine? So the EX and lower trims will probably still have the chrome grille?

OK, I just asked my SA to switch me over to a 2023. 😬

I love the more rugged look so I'm hoping to get an X-line. I cannot afford an X-Pro, so I'm hoping the X-line is priced just like an S with AWD like the Sorrento. I love everything about the new interior and exterior and I'm really glad they kept the knobs and shifter. I like the blue, (is that blue in the pictures at the auto show the midnight lake blue color?) and I also like the jungle green color but some pictures look tan and some pictures look almost lime.

I realize this will probably make my wait time much longer, as now I'm starting over in line (once I can get back in line haha). And I hope I don't get screwed over by price or color options/captains chairs. But I'm pretty stoked about what I'm seeing in the 2023.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe switching to X-Line could potentially move you to the front of the line since they seems to separate trims into different "lines"
