• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Murray kia order to delivery time

Raceway Kia shows up on the Kia website now but there are no cars associated with it yet. So I'm assuming VINs can't be tracked until that happens. Their website updates somewhere around 1-3am so hopefully tonight our vehicles are back up tomorrow and we can get ETAs from Stephen.

There are three cars that show up in failcat under their name currently.

Cool, looks like they're updating things pretty quickly. Failcat may have a different data source than the Kia website. Raceway has other vehicles showing up for them on Kia's website but no Tellurides. I've been watching that and waiting for the "Arriving Soon" label to go away on my Telluride. But now I can't see it until they link the VIN back to Raceway.

Scratch that, Raceway doesn't actually have any vehicles on the Kia website yet. When you change models, it clears the dealer filter you have selected.

Feeling much less comfortable. I emailed Roger the other day just asking for updates as he may receive them. I followed up that same email with my question about the receptionist confirming MSRP and asking if he could do the same.

I got a response that “One of his managers will follow up with me over the next week or so to discuss my Telluride order.” I followed back up with my question about confirming what the receptionist told me and also wanted to see if he could tell me where I fell in the orders list. He responded with “Management will reach out to you with further details in the next week or so”.

This doesn’t sound good.

Yep, that doesn't sound great...

Yup...the fact that he wouldn't confirm it does not sound good at all. I would hope that for those of you whose vehicles haven't been picked up and built by the factory yet that they would give you the option of canceling your order and getting your deposit back.

But for those of us like myself and @LhTelly whose vehicles have already been built and are arriving soon...well that's really bad business practice if they don't honor the MSRP agreement. I'm getting livid again.

Ew. That sounds pretty suspect. They Probally will spin it like " oh were charging over 5k now, but since your order is already on its way we'll only charge you 2k" that would be ridiculous

If I don’t get a call by mid week I will be following back up. I suggest anyone still waiting for their car to be picked up does the same. If they are continuing to get calls and e-mails about this they hopefully will respond.

I feel like this is business 101. If you buy a company and you know that they have outstanding orders the first thing you should decide is how you are going to handle that and let everyone know. It just seems shady to me that they are a week into owning it and haven’t confirmed with people.

Maybe there will be power in numbers and if enough peolle reach out demanding the information the rest of us will get some.

With all of the horror stories of people expecting to pay a certain price and then being asked for thousands more once the car arrives, I would make sure that you get written confirmation of the price.

This is why I sent a complaint to Kia America directly. I would advise everyone to do the same, particularly if it wasn’t put in writing.

Anyone else get this?

Just talked to Russell and he said they won’t hold orders any long and he has been instructed to cancel all orders from Murray that haven’t been picked up yet.

I haven't received that yet. That'd be a bummer.

Was told that anything that wasn’t picked up this week they are refunding deposits for. Raceway does not take custom orders. They get orders to fill the lot so you can walk in and purchase but they won’t take an order.

Does that mean picked up in KFOS or actually purchased and taken delivery?

I believe picked up in KFOS.
I guess that gives me some hope. But I'm really sorry about your order seeing as you've already waited so long..

I woke up to this today. I know it's generic, but it is the first communication I have had from them so far.
