• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... They seem to be implementing a Sorento-style proliferation of trims. Now there are six different official versions of the SX! Surely some customer confusion is likely.

Although they have ditched the best exterior color, BC :), I have to admit that the color list as a whole packs a lot more variety, and some more vivid hues.

Great info. Thanks. No tow package on X-Line or X-Pro, or am I misunderstanding?

That appears to be the case unless it comes with the Terracotta or Sage green interior package.

Thanks. Kinda bizarre, given that one of the selling points of X-pro is that it bumps up towing capacity, no?

According to the press release, both the X-Line and X-Pro have a tow mode (and the x-Pro can tow an additional 500 lbs). So presumably they come with the towing equipment standard.

Also, where are the LX, S, and EX AWD? I’m doubtful that the cheapest way to get AWD in 2023 will be to spend $45K+.

Frankly unsure. The other option might simply be it's included with those models so it's not an 'option.'

You'll need to check with Kia. From the stats those 3 models accounted for a mere 12% of the vehicles sold. Attrition of poor selling models is probably my guess.

It's also in bold at the top that this is completely unofficial to the best of our knowledge and subject to change. So it could also be I don't have all the information.

Is there an easy way to tell which internal and external colors are limited to which trims?

Do you know if the Standard interior in the prestige is leather?

Wow pretty disappointing to lose Dune and Butterscotch. Unreal.

Look at the fifth item on the list: X-LINE EX V6 AWD.

That’s X-Line, though (not just a regular one). According to this information, the only way to get a non-X-Line AWD Telluride will be to get an SX or SX Prestige.

Also note that the cheapest way to get AWD would be that X-Line EX, which is analogous to the EX Nightfall currently. That is a $45,000+ vehicle. I know the moss popular models and the ones that grab headlines and win comparisons are the top end ones, but a nonzero number of people are fine with the low end or are priced out of the high end.

And a sidenote regarding the sales of the low-end trims, a quick peek at Failcat shows the LX and S AWD models are produced in roughly 1.5x the volume of the FWD models. So eliminating AWD on those trims doesn’t make any sense. I know no one here has the true answers, so we’ll just have to wait.

This is great information to see trickle in, but ultimately is just speculation until it comes from the source and/or vehicles are on the road.

Is the S losing captains chairs?

Anyone want to take a wild guess on what the MSRP will be for the top X-PRO SX-PRESTIGE V6 AWS AUTO trim with the Terracotta interior? Including Freight? Pushing $55-58K?

Are the current model year roof rails able to be removed and covered with a body colored plate? I ask because the new model year roof rails look taller which I definitely don't like.

I think that's too high. Currently, an SXP AWD with extra-cost paint and leather, towing, and Nightfall is $51,805 (no floor mats or other accessories). I can't see a flat increase of more than $2k or so for the basic gear, and Nightfall + towing probably approximate the cost of the new X-Pro trim. So I'd say the absolute max would be $54k, and I wouldn't be shocked if it came in under that figure.

The raised roof rails might be an X-Pro thing. They're supposed to be more functional. The standard trims may still have the current roof rails. We just haven't seen them yet.

I could see it. With SX markups at $5k - $10k in much of the country, Kia may figure it makes sense to absorb those “market adjustments“ back into the MSRP. The revamped product line would provide an opportunity to do this.
