• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2023 Kia Telluride Discussion

I was thinking the exact same thing early this month when Failcat was returning zero results for days and then some time last week I checked and it was over 900 new VINS when typically it is less than 200 a day. I got a call this recent Saturday that my car was coming! I checked Failcat that day and found over 1300 new VINS were added in the last 24 hours.

I ordered the SX-P in Midnight Lake Blue with the Blue/Gray interior. I had requested the Self-Leveling Rear Suspension Package but was told by sells rep at Kia dealership that I am buying from that Kia has not made 2023's with this option because they are working out issues. Does anybody know more about this?
Has anybody checked Failcat on regular basis and knows the typical number of VINS added in a 24 hour period? I have not been looking long since I just recently learned about the website. The first couple of times I checked, the typical average of VINS added for a 24 hour window seemed to be a couple of hundred. There was a couple of days early this Dec where no VINS were being reported. I figured it was a holiday break but lately numbers have been HUGE. I imagine sum of the large uptick in VINS was due to days of zero VINS being reported but I think it was only a couple of days and not a whole week where the site was reporting zero VINS. Just seems odd that ramp up in production is happening now just before the holidays but then again maybe they are pumping them out knowing Christmas and New Years most people will be out? From the last five days its ~ 820 VINS for 24 hours does that sound about right for the yearly average?

12/16/22 = > 900 VINS
12/17/22 = > 1300 VINS
12/19/22 = 515 VINS
12/20/22 = 755 VINS
12/21/22 = 637 VINS

UPDATE
Just found this site kiamedia.com/us/en/sales/bymodel. With total units sold from 2021 as basis for 2022, it would mean average of 1,800 Tellurides a week / 360 day.

Forgive my ignorance, but do the window stickers give any evidence of a vehicle’s ETA?

No, not a direct ETA but people have been able to figure out an estimated time from sticker > completed off assembly > shipping ETA.

Thanks. I saw one on Failcat that matches our car and dealer, but haven’t heard anything from the dealer yet. He estimated February-March when I ordered back in September. Was just wondering the average time between appearing on Failcat and delivery.

I would just ask the dealer if your vehicle was picked up by Kia yet. If so, they know the ETA.

I did the same thing, soon as one that matched I emailed the dealer inquiring if they had heard anything. Finally I was very direct and asked the following questions.
- How many people ordered the exact same model as me?
- Where am I on that list?

My dealer just told me 2 months. I'm curious to hear if someone's been told something else?

2 months to what? Delivery? If so they have an ETA date provided by Kia. Or is it 2 months before they believe Kia will pickup your order???

I answered the quoted question... "Was just wondering the average time between appearing on Failcat and delivery."

My apologies. From what I’ve seen - typically about a month.

Delivery just went from Jan 21 to Feb 7.

You can ask @StephenCantrelle to track it by clicking "Telluride Tracking" button above. He used to be able to confirm names but that is no longer possible.

I’m in the same boat! Just saw one on failcat appear yesterday to my dealership with my trim, dark moss + mahogany interior. Could this really be happening!?

Hi all. I ordered my EX X-Line a couple weeks back and am playing the waiting game. I have a question about Driver Talk (Passenger Talk) - sorry if this has already been covered!

I’ve been watching a bunch of review videos of the trim I got to hold me over until I have mine, but I’ve noticed whenever the reviewers go through the options on the main infotainment screen on any trim lower than SX there is no option for Driver Talk or Passenger Talk anywhere. It’s definitely listed as a feature on my order paperwork and on the Kia website. What gives? Anyone in a lower trim manage to find it yet?
Hello, have you found a solution? I recently picked up a 2023 ex-xline and I also don’t have the option despite it being listed as an option. Please let me know if you solved the problem as I was really looking forward to it. Thanks!

Have you found the solution? Just got my ex-xline 2023 and same thing. No driver/passenger talk option.

I picked up my 23 sx-x-line a couple weeks ago and now my entertainment screen is black except with radio or included map. Won’t go to CarPlay or phone without just blacking out. Anyone have this too? Fix?

I believe there may be a way to do a "hard reset" on the infotainment system but I am unaware of how to perform this. There should be instructions online. Is it just your "phone projection" that is not working? If so make sure you are using an Apple branded lightening cable and also try someone else's phone to eliminate the phone hardware and cable as a variable. I have gotten the black screen every now and then in both my Acura and Telluride - it has always resolved itself after a power cycle on the vehicle and / or changing the cord. Good luck and keep us posted.

You were right. Had lunch and came back out to normal screen again 🤷🏼‍♀️
