Well.. almost 4 months to the day.... I received my Black on Black SXP/AWD/Tow.... Have had it 2 days and I can see it will be a learning experience. I told the dealer not to prep the outside...I take it in the 9th of Sept for Ceramic coating so no swirls. I will just hose it down if a lot of dust. It drives great... never understood why you needed 400 hp... seems the 291 works quite well with the 8 speed tranny. Response is great for what it is... a people hauler/or some other items. It is NOT a pick up truck... if that is what you compare it to...shoulda bought one instead. Admitted...less than 100 miles on it but what I have driven, has been great.
Again.. there is a lot to learn ...even down loading UVO. I also found out the dealer has a remote start offered and installed that doesn't mess with warranty as it is THEIR brand. Later may include that as well. ( not sure if I will take to UVO so options open). I imagine I have a lot to learn as to the use of the options but, being retired, I may be able to find some time. Now, my wife seems apprehensive when I suggest she drive it, but, she will come around. One thing I am trying to find is a NO-DRILL front plate bracket for Telluride. We don't have front License plate requirements here but have a Vanity Plate I want on the front. Will comment again as I go along the T-Ride Trail....
Oh, just to tell you...I wasn't notified of anything until the morning it came in... NO
VIN ahead or even that it was being built... Was within 15 miles of me in a drop point in Youngstown Ohio for a few days. So as I see it...the
VIN is NOT an indication it is being built or that even the Dealer could trace it... I visited the dealer the day before I got my call and told them I was frustrated at this wait... At that time..no one knew about the info on my ride.... nor could they find the disposition...The call came to them....the next morning.
