What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

$34k for a dark moss S.

I told Kevin to call me back and give detail explanation on the VIP package deal which he did instantly and he talked about the windscreen would be repaired and if they couldn't repair it, then a replacement would be done at no cost at all. Also if the car is being damaged by hail, a repair of up to $500 would be given. I did ask for car services/oil change if that could be free, but he said that has to do with the finance people if they offer such. I think the package kinda worth it anyways. It is an unlimited 10yr package, renewable.

One windshield replacement would cover the cost.

Let me show you what the VIP package is, I guess it kinda worth it, seem like it. But he said they reccomend and offer the package which means it is not mandatory to have it included.
I went further asking if their office offer any additional add-ons, the answer "was absolutely not"
I'd say it was worth it.

How is anyone gettin below 50 out door on the sx models? In socal thorugh various dealers I can barely crack a quote of 54 (all in)

My personal experience is that once the vehicle is on the dealership lot, there is little incentive for them to negotiate ANYTHING ..... you'll like pay a surcharge to get the vehicle. However, that wasn't the case when I ordered one through the dealership (although one specific dealership simply refused to place an order for me). I posted my exact build (fairly decked out) and delivery time previously on this thread.

SX AWD with factory tow, floor mats and cargo cover. $700 off MSRP in addition to the $1,000 Kia 1.9% financing rebate. I reluctantly agreed to their $379 admin fee because they gave me 2k more for my trade then anybody else was offering. It will be titled in Montana so no sales tax. I really wanted to order a Prestige from the Muncie guys but I couldn't pass up the deal with a favorable trade. Only thing I will really miss is the HUD.

Dealership in FL adding $3500 extras above the MSRP and inland freight/handling for:
  • Nitrogen air service
  • Precision pinstriping
  • Kia factory mudguards
  • Kia factory wheel locks
  • Llumar deluxe film protection
One on the lot with the charge didn't even have pinstriping. I actually don't like pinstriping. I think i got my mechanic to refill my tires with nitrogen for next to nothing years ago. Our other cars had wheel locks standard, and they are over 12 years old.

Also, they have a $900 documentation fee. That seems really high. crazy high.

Talked with local Hyundai dealer re: Palisade and they had $5000 in markups in addition to $900 doc fee ($2k markup and similar adds, including a $200 first aid kit you could get for $30 on amazon).

Are people actually paying these?

Yes. People either don’t know any better, or don’t care and have the money to spend. I’m in Central Florida and haven’t found anything at MSRP without at least a $800 “dealer fee” attached. Most have $800+ dealer fee and then an additional $2k markup or the markup disguised as an add-on package. So I’m just having to wait it out :/

Thanks Hammick! Really appreciate the info, truly.

I found jason fox’s email in this forum and have reached out. Muncie sounds like a great dealership, these folks sure do get rave reviews from this forum. I appreciate your info. I just purchased a costco membership, is that something i setup prior or does the dealer work with that? I saw a thread in here somewhere that talked about it, but i cant find it at the minute.

They'll just take your Costco membership number once you are ready to place the order.

Sign up. Costco has all kinds of goodies if your near a store if not still worth it for discount on Telly and Muncie Kia is the best. Can’t wait to meet them and pick mine up. Happy ordering😉

Absolutely, the wait begins and everyday, I see myself in my new car yet to come..😀 but it will also give me the opportunity to get more money for the downpayment....maybe 15k by then.😏
I will surely ask for the specifics and details about those aforementioned. Will surely apprise you once I get the details.
Thanks.
so glad you got your car ordered but the VIP package is not worth the money. Save that money for when you to in finance they are going to offer you an extended warranty for 10 years on your new Telluride. should be around 1500 bucks is what I paid. This will give 10 years bumper to bumper coverage and well worth it with all the electronics on this car. You can get a better coating from somewhere else but if you do read the fine print and don't really expect a place to cover any type of repaint from rock chips. Tell Kevin a friend from Terrell Texas said hi, the guy that bought the first Black Copper from him.

why pay this when you most insurance has compressive for windows and that deductible is usually 50 bucks Look at your car insurance or ask when you before you get the car.

Back in July, someone posted a screen shot of the KMF Dealer's Choice financing options. I should be picking up my new Telly in the next week or two and want to be prepared for what my financing options are. Right now, my dealer's website is listing $1,000 CB with 1.9% financing for 48 months. Anything other than the 48 mos. would be at 3.5% with the $1,000 CB. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the headsup, appreciate it. I am looking forward to getting the best package money can buy at reasonable cost. I will definitely look into that as well and weigh up all options. Money actually is not the issue but whatever is being paid for do Worth it.

I sure will tell Kevin you said hey. Can you Send me the picture of you black copper? Haven't seen it life. I've got a Kia TELLURIDE brochure from kia with a sample of all exterior in it, still the visual didn't stick for black copper.

Pictures don’t do the color justice. I have one but no picture will show the Copper in color when the sun hit it
The best pictures are in a topic KIA in Black Copper under colors of the Telluride
