Order to delivery time

We ordered a Moss/Black AWD SX Prestige August 31 with a refundable $500 deposit. No word yet. We were told it would be 4 to 5 month wait.

They gave you a pretty realistic timeline to be honest , not like my dealer who said 8-10 weeks of which 8 weeks have been over without any updates on the production start of the car.

That weird a non refundable deposit. I have never heard of that before . I placed a deposit and got a refund because they didn't communicate about my order.

Yup , If I decide to walk away without purchasing for any reason I should be ready to loose the $1000 is what they said.

I sure hope it is worth the wait. We live in the Dakotas, and it looks like it could be a brutal winter. I was hoping to get it much sooner, hopefully they padded the timeline by a couple months.

To recap: Ordered a SXP AWD, Black Copper, Dune Brown,Tow on July 30th. Initial delivery estimate was Sept. 30th then it got moved to Oct. 6th, now could be Oct. 1st.

MINE FINALLY ARRIVED!
Ordered a Snow White pearl with Dune Brown; Prestige, Towing and AWD on March 30.... yes that would be March ...it took five and half months.

Took possession last night ...
Paid MSRP ... dealer threw in all weather mats, cargo net and cargo cover.

It’s a waiting process..... But oh so worth it

I ordered my Everlasting Silver SXP on July 30th and picked up on Sept. 25th. They told me it would be anywhere from 6 to 12 weeks when I ordered it. I am very pleased with the technology on this vehicle. The only wish I had would be steering wheel paddle shifters. I've had them on my last 4 cars, and keep reaching for them on the Telluride, but totally a first world problem.

I ordered my SXP gravity grey with illuminated scuff plates and wheel locks on August 29th. Heard back from the salesman today he said I should expect it by Nov 5th. No vin yet so I'm not going to hold my breath. Congrats to those who just recieved theirs.

Easy now. This sounds like an order placed but they filled it with a allocated inbound unit. Nobody and I do not care who you are will get an order processed and built that quickly. It's impossible to do so.
