• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... I just bought my Telluride a few weeks ago, but it keeps making this annoying sound at startup. I have gone through the setting and cannot find what it is. I first thought it was the welcome sound, but that’s not it. It sounds like some kind of alarm.

Time to visit the dealer

I don’t have my Telluride yet, but maybe one thing you could try is disconnecting the battery in order to reboot the electronics/computer. Only do this if you’re familiar with cars and know what you’re doing. Good Luck!

I am pretty familiar with cars. That is why this alarm is driving me so crazy. There is no notification as to what is causing it.

Yeah, that ain't the welcome sound for sure... head on over to your dealer. Wish I knew the answer to that one though! :)

I believe the sound is the seat belt warning, put your seat belt on before pressing the start button and see if the sound stops.

That's not what mine sounds like.

The seat belt sound is at the beginning of that clip. The alarm that I am talking about is after the seat belt sound.

Bummer

Well I tried disconnecting the battery and still getting the noise...

Did you try checking to see if you have anything unusual attached to the OBD port like I suggested? It might be a dealer installed inventory tracking system.

Yeah I checked that too. No luck there either.
