If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Order to delivery time

Congrats post pics

Mine was also ordered and I stayed on top of them to make sure their were no shenanigans like other dealers. Well unfortunately things took a turn for the worse. The dealer contacted me and said it was delivered with a huge scratch..... they are going to see if it will buff out or if it will require a repaint. So I no longer am driving the 100 miles to pick it up on Monday. Dealer is supposed to be sending me picks of the scratch. I have family in the area that I will send out to look at it on Monday also. They said it is at their body shop and they will let me know Monday with the decision. Then they will take care of it either way and deliver the car to me (picking up my trade in, in the process) and compensate me in some form for my “time” if it has to have a repaint.

Hey what’s a few more days........ 😒

I'm in the same exact situation, I talked with my dealership yesterday and they gave me that exact day of nov. 9th, but did not have a vin either. I'm patient though I ordered a grey SXP with wheel locks and illuminated scuff plates on Aug 29th. From what I've read on here and someone can correct me if wrong but it will take around 2-3 weeks for delivery from the time you get the vin. So there's still time but I doubt mine will be here by then. Good luck.

Im in week 12 as of today and still do not have a definite answer . Trying to be very patient after hearing it took much longer for others . Good luck on yours:)

Waiting on a Green Moss SX AWD with Brown interiors. At the 7 week mark now. Dealer says it is taking anywhere between 12 to 15 weeks on that model. Trying to be patient

I'm on week 10 waiting for SXP White with Dune interior. No word of any sort yet.I am in love with the telluride from what I have seen and heard and researched like crazy while waiting and I understand it's an all new vehicle and is surpassing the sales expectations, but I think KIA made a mistake of underestimating the sales especially on the SXP thus creating these crazy wait times as well
as give a lot of greedy dealers the opportunity to play with costumers like I have seen using all kinds of excuses.Last time I asked my dealer,he explained to me that our order had been accepted
but it had not been sent to the plant yet and that it was just in queue waiting to start being produced. He also said that the actual manufacturing/assembly only takes a day or two.
Sometimes,I just can't help but think that this high demand low supply stuff has been carefully planned to drive profit up,and I'm sorry if I'm wrong but I am not sure why they don't undertake any improvements in the manufacturing process such as cutting other models production lines to ramp up the production of the Telluride, since that seems is and has been so far very profitable.
I look online daily to find SXP Tellurides and and it is the same result as it has been at least for 3 months or more, still not many out there.I believe it will be very worth it when it finally comes in,but I got rid of my Durango after Transmission failed at just 92000 miles to not risk any other very expensive mechanical failures and expenses as seems to be usual with Fiat Chrysler products when researching online.I have been stuck with a Scion that drives like crap for almost 3 months, only because I really really like the telluride and I guess I will continue to impatiently wait and just hope that the wait time won't be like many others on this forum.I am happy that telluride is being as well received as it has been, but I also believe that it will eventually die down. For a factory that has a capacity of 340,000 vehicles a year, only to produce around only 40,000 just does not seem right to me.Just my 2 cents and my experience on waiting for our much anticipated Telluride.

The same factory (West Point, GA) produces the Optima and Sorento (2020 just announced) models. The plant runs 3 shifts and 7 days a week to the best of my knowledge.
Definitely I am certain Kia did not anticipate the demand and they did not expect people to order loaded Telluride vehicles like they have. That information has been well publicized in the media. I don't believe this was all "planned" as you stated to carefully drive up profits. The searching method through the KIA web site doesn't work as dealer inventories cannot be updated quick enough. Leaving your name and number to have a dealer call you when one is available is fruitless. Don't know where you ordered your vehicle from however. Customer loyalty (to the brand) is out the window when trying to obtain this vehicle. There is so much hype and it's easy to get caught up in it. Just order from a reputable dealer and be patient. My two cents.

I see a lot of folks received their orders a few days prior to assigned ETA date, did everyone see their vehicle populate on the dealer/Kia inventory website prior to arrival at the dealership? ETA of 10/31 after 16 weeks of waiting and I'm desperate for a sign that the wait is over!

It only populates if the dealer chooses to do so. It can sometimes be a manual entry. We are getting Tellurides sometimes before we have the invoices but that is rare and really does not mean anything.

I ordered my sx prestige at the end of May and just received word that it will be delivered Saturday. So, my wait was about 5 months...

I ordered mine July 5th and was told 4-12 weeks. They called to let me know along with others that they are behind on orders. Going on 17 weeks...

How is that going on 17 weeks? It is around 14 weeks from your order date.

Gave up on my Gray/gray SXP order (at 10 weeks) and purchased a Silver/Black SXP from a dealer about 2.5 hours away. Really happy with the Everlasting Silver color and the black interior/lighter headliner is sharp in real life. Figuring out all the tech right now. :)

We are at 10 weeks now. I search almost daily within 500 miles to find one...so far, no matches we are willing to compromise on. So the wait goes on.

Am I the only one with a dealer that said before taking my deposit 'honestly, I can't give you an ETA because I'd just be lying' ? (Jason Fox doesn't count :) )

Ordered SX AWD WHITE Sept 7. Was told October 17 delivery. On Oct 18, was told November 24.

Same boat as many here. Ordered White SXP w/ Grey and several accessories Aug 21, so almost to week 10. No ETA provided and no updates from dealer as some "come sooner, some come later."
