Well I am exactly in the same boat but my situation is even more complicated.
If I were in the US I would have purchased a 2017 q7. Audi pure protection is usually around $5,000 for 6 years. So keeping maintenance aside, I think you will be covered for any other expenses.
Now the cost side of it, let’s say both cars are 45k. For Audi you will spend extra 5,000 on extended warranty. Let’s say you decide on selling them after 5 years and putting 60,000 miles. For q7 you’re looking at 15k to 20k for a trade in while for telluride you should be able to get 20k to 25k.
Again keeping maintenance aside, I think you’re looking at 10 grand more for a q7 over a period of 5 years. That’s my observation so far.
