What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

What is Costco's price? I did not see it on the Costco website. Was it offered by dealer?
Kia of Muncie offers costco pricing, contact them for pricing. It depends on model and options. You won't find one cheaper anywhere.

Hi All.
Finally, my search came to an end. Bought an Dark Moss SX with Butterscotch in SoCal at MSRP ..finally :) :) well..it was 1K over MSRP, the 1K Kia rebated brought it back to msrp, i didn't negotiate much to get the 1k rebated over msrp knowing how they have been selling on this forum...Not sure if it was a good deal or not, but that's it..now all about exploring it...All I can say so far in two days - WOW- Does this also have this? (answer was always yes)!!!

I love how they do this bullshit move to bring it back to MSRP and make it look like they are doing you a favor.

Enjoy your new ride!

Yes, that's correct, I could have walked out it. I was talking to 9 dealers in Cali and everyone had mark-up 3K to 10K. It is going something like this in SoCal
S and LX - You can manage to easily get them at msrp
EX - Going at markups of 1k-3k
SX - Going at markups of 1k-10k

If I had not closed the deal, I would have postponed indefinitely or ended up considering other 3-row suvs (like pilots, 2020 highlanders, atlas 's of the world) which are bit behind in tech..

I'm in Colorado Springs and purchased a SX AWD with standard package from Tynan's Kia in Fort Collins in May. At that time, I could find not any dealers honoring the costco auto program in Colorado.
Medved Kia never gave me a price, and the Peak Kia asked 5K mark-up. Phil Long Kia failed to submit my order in time due to their laziness when Kia shutdown the SX order.
Tynan's Kia offered MSRP minus the rebates for a SX that was to be delivered in 3 days. They were not shady.
This is good to hear about Tynan's Kia in Fort Collins. If I run into issues with Casper, I will just give them a call back.

What am I missing here? Those SX-P prices are nearly $2,000 over MSRP.
Yup I thought the same!

Ordered SX FWD with Kia of Muncie (Jason and Lucas) after contacting several dealers locally in TX. No haggling, Straightforward numbers with Costco price- Thanks to this forum for getting me contact of Jason. Now wait begins!
I did exactly the same. Jason and Lucas are quick to respond to questions and are amazing to work with. It’s sad that you can order out of state and still pay below MSRP even with the transportation costs to where you live.

Kia of Lansdale Pennsylvania sold me my SX non prestige for MSRP, and I got the $1k Kia financing rebate on top of that so was able to pay under $45k before taxes and title which feels like a steel for this thing. Charles Smith sold it to me and was extremely nice, honest, and transparent.

Let me ask you guys pickup my vehicle of dealer.
I signed my Telluride EX last Saturday night. I supposed to pickup my vehicle this Tuesday but the dealer has delayed until today.
At Tuesday, I got a message from the dealer "thor snow put everything back a full day. very sorry." - There was a heavy snow at Sunday and Monday.
Today, I got another message "I am sorry to tell you that you cannot pick up the car today. you can come in anytime after 3pm tomorrow. Your car will be ready tomorrow. Thank you for your patience." - "We are having bank issue. All will be ready tomorrow after 3pm"
I called the dealer and the sales person said he can not tell me the reason which bank issue and there is no problem for my finance.(I paid $15K down)
Do you guys why the dealer delay the pickup and is there anything that I can do?

Yes, something seems fishy here. I am wondering why the Telly wasn’t delivered to you on Saturday? Was it at the dealership?
If they don’t deliver it to you tomorrow, you could certainly ask them to cancel the deal. Then see what happens.

Thanks for your reply.
I signed it when they closed. My car was there but they said the car was not ready because the car insurance. My family were there from 2pm to 7pm(dealer closing time) because the sales person took care another customer. I drove 1 & half hour to the dealer. The dealer close at Sunday in NJ due to blue law. Can I request to deliver my car to me?

Hmm...assuming you have insurance for a current vehicle, I believe it is supposed to cover a new vehicle you purchase—even if you don’t contact the insurance company before you purchase it.
I think asking for delivery is a smart idea, but they will most likely try to charge you for it.

I have a metromile car insurance. But the dealer could not handle this and I called the insurance company to update my new car. LOL.

Update...

I called to dealer and he said it is not available today. I can pick it up noon tomorrow. Crazy...

Kissamor, what dealership are you working with? They sound shady as hell. Post the dealership name so others can avoid these clowns.

I hope you get it! It seems that they are having difficulty lining up your financing - even with $15k down. Did you bring your own financing, or are they doing it? If so, things like the insurance would matter for the finance company. They could possibly be trying to avoid a spot delivery, which could be illegal in your state. A spot delivery is when they send you off with the car prior to having the financing arranged - and then have to renege on the deal because the financing fell through.

I assume you saw the vehicle there on Saturday and test drove it. In your paperwork, there will be an odometer statement, so be sure that it is correct when you pick it up. They should be bending over backwards to get you in the vehicle especially with $1500 over MSRP, but let us know how it works out.

can confirm CA is crazy with the mark-ups. Lowest mark-up I found for an SX was 5k. So congrats on the 1K. I hit up about the same amount of dealers as well.
