What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

I put a deposit down for EX Moss Green. MSRP was $38,100, dealer is asking $1k over with $1k in Kia financing, so it comes down to MSRP. The dealer said it will take 60-90 days for the Telly to be delivered, if they cannot find another one for me. For folks who have ordered their Telly, how long did it take for you from order to delivery?
Did they order it or waiting for one to arrive?

They said they will order one. I have searched far and wide for a EX Moss Green with 2nd row bench seats, and I finally found one in a dealership that was asking $6k over MSRP. I finally bit the bullet and had my local dealer order one.

The moss is such a beautiful color. I was impatient and went with Sangria.

I would have gotten the Sangria if they offered it in the SX, Moss is my 2nd favorite followed by the black copper.

I'm waiting on ceramic silver 🤞🏁

No. I didn't want to pay $6k over MSRP so had my local dealer order one at MSRP. They said 90 days is the average wait time, and I was looking for validation if that's what other members of the group are seeing.

Wouldn't that be awesome... That definitely would have been my first pick and hoping the red interior comes with it.
Ohhh la LA!

The Costco pricing is done by the dealer. I work at a Kia dealer in PA. Tellurides are excluded from Costco and TrueCar. We are currently selling them $4,691 over MSRP and can not keep them in stock. SX w/Prestige pkg are going for $6,500 over. We will go MSRP on LX models. Some surrounding dealers are doing MSRP but they don't have inventory of course.

pretty precise timing. l might bite on an SX P if you give me $100 off per day the car is delivered past your cited date..LOL

My discount is that I am selling at MSRP and not adding the $2000-$10000 over MSRP that many customers have paid. This type of savings won't last long.

If I don't have the car ready within 5 days of the delivery day I will take the $100 a day off the price. I'm all about making it easy and transparent.

That's a substantial discount! Glad it included the full Driver Assistance option... I don't believe that is standard in 202A.
That's correct. I ended up getting the expedition. At 18k off MSRP it was a no brainer vs the non-sense KIA dealerships are asking for. Good luck for all in your hunt!

I bet you feel good about it, putting people in more of an upside down situation right from the start.

Well I won't lie it feels good to make money on an item costing 10's of 1000's of dollars for once. Pretty rare now-a-days. The intent to sell a car is never a bad one. The selling over sticker alone doesn't produce a good feeling just like selling a car $500 under invoice doesn't produce a bad one. Just happy to sell a car period. God bless America and the Free Market System. People have free choice to buy or pass on it.

I did. And I will sooner than later.

Went to get the Telluride at same Peak Kia dealership in Colo Spgs, and they showed the window sticker saying that was the price then wasted time looking at doing a trade-in and credit check etc and then they said that the price wasn't the sticker price. The selling price had their "market" adjustment pricing and forced add-ons. I walked away, and told them how I felt about wasting my time and not being transparent on the pricing. Will never give them my business unless I absolutely have to.

That is a low blow. Damn. Sorry this happened.

The experience of walking into Peak Kia in Colorado Springs Is less than inspiring. The look of it is kind of like what I imagine a car rental shack to be like at an airstrip in a third world country. The place is a dump.

The experience working with some of the sales folks was pretty awful too. Look at the pics on google maps.

I’m not trying to sound snobby, but perhaps my dealership experience with my past three Audis has set my expectations too high?

Look elsewhere @jrb. I ordered from a dealer north of denver. They seem to be more well put together. We’ll see if they change their tune our Telluride arrives
