Just let me know the store you ordered from and the trim color combo and I can confirm the Eta for you. If they said end of the year it should have a vin and ETA at this moment

To be honest,I smell bullshit.I just dont want to believe that it is not true and I dont think I can take a disappointment like that right now

Yes I was with Central in Plano... took 6 months off to go into management and now I’m at Classic in Lewisville.. I live in Anna right up the road ha. And yes they are telling the truth. No Vin assigned. ETA shows 12-24 Snow White Pearl with Dune interior with Factory Tow Package. Has illuminating Light kit, scuff plate, wheel locks

No Vin assigned. ETA shows 12-24 Snow White Pearl with Dune interior with Factory Tow Package. Has illuminating Light kit, scuff plate, wheel locks

It’s a great little town that is blowing up. Been there 6 years.. they honestly probably have the same concern I do as well as you. It’s kinda odd to have that ETA without a Vin assigned. I haven’t been back long enough to get all the new trends but I’m hoping they are much better with the ETA system than when I left 6 months ago and yes either way would be a great Christmas present or great way to ring in the new year! That’s a awesome combo she will be in your drive way soon enough! Just pm me when you need another update. Happy to help

@StephenCantrelle - That's awesome you were able to help out mshabana! I placed an order on 11/1, was informed by the dealer on 11/19 the order was accepted. At what point would the order hit the system and have an ETA or VIN? I talked to them today, and they weren't able to provide any further information than it was accepted. I'm trying to get an idea of how long my wife needs to wait for her new ride. Hoping it's not 6 months like I'm seeing. Thanks in advance!

Your information was the very first concrete confirmation that at least my dealer is not bullshitting and that the order was actually placed.hopefully the VIN will be assigned soon.Im not sure how that works.
Not sure if the VIN gets created first or if it just has not been assigned in my case.Either way,Im in a better mood and at least more confident that the Telluride is on the way

Depending on trim and how many orders the store currently has will have some weight on when a order gets a internal number.. with the internal number should be attached an ETA date. I had a bad experience with Citrus Kia, you can read about it on the bad experience thread. But I also placed an "order" and the people I worked with tried to talk me out of it saying it would take 4-5 months. I did it anyway, but I doubt it went anywhere. All they did was photocopy my DL and wrote some stuff down on it. And that was 5 days ago, no one contacted me since.

Yes as long as he has access to kdealer he can as well. But I don’t mind checking. I get in the office at 9.. it’s Central time so 1 hour away.
