If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... What did you pay for your KIA Telluride?

Hi, I'm in N. CA too. What dealers have you tried?
I’m in Marin. I’ve been to Novato, up in Santa Rosa (they had one but light interior three weeks ago sonits gone). And had feelers out as far as Roseville.

You had any luck?

I can wait, I’m just excited!

I went to a dealership in MA yesterday.
Drove an EX & SX. Drove real nice, look great.
Here are the numbers i was given that I thought were really high and going to shop around some more. I would love to hear what everyone else finds.

MSRP $46,860
Balance $45,277.33
36mo / 12k
$1000 Down ($631)

I believe if we wait a couple of months till the hype is down for the Telluride it will be cheaper

Yelled at general manager of a dealer that tried to scam/ bate & switch me, then we settled on $500 over invoice. we bought Telluride SX with Prestige package for $45.020 - $1500 KMF incentive - $1000 customer loyalty incentive - $400 military incentive so total out the door was $42,120.
How did you do that? Out the door pricing for me with taxes title and registration is $48,200. (Without any incentives)

Yes, it was AWD Telluride SX with Prestige package, carpeted floor mats, rear teifold cargo mat and wheel locks.

I'm looking for a Telluride as my lease is nearly up for my '16 Buick Enclave. Do you think it make sense to configure one on Kia's website and then send out the quote form to request quotes from all the dealers in my area? I've got about 6 within 50 miles so have plenty to choose from, but I'm not sure if I should just email each one separately or via this form. I always end up screwing myself when buying and really don't want to do so this time.

Personally, I like to go out test driving first just to confirm in my mind that I'm choosing the best vehicle. The plus side to doing that is now the various dealers are trying to earn your business, not the the other way around. Buying a new car can be fun as long as you take your time and do your research.

A local dealer just called me, one of the SX with prestige that was spoken for and coming in the next week is available. The original deposit holders backed out.

Gravity Grey, black interior. MSRP is 46,300 and they are sticking with that. He will take 1K off (assuming competition rebate) I have my own financing. So the price would be 45k plus tax etc.

Is this a decent deal based on what you all are seeing?

You should also be getting the 1.5k financing offer assuming you purchase the vehicle. 2.5k off msrp is pretty standard at this time and the best you'll find within a few hundred dollars. Some buyers have also gotten a few accessories thrown in as well such as floor mats, cargo net, wheel locks, etc. Nothing major like side steps or tow hitch.

The OP said they have their own financing, so they won't get the 1500.

What dealer in IA? Thats where Im at.

Finnin Kia in Dubuque. Worked with Alex, he’s been great and upfront with all the numbers.

Finance with Kia and take their $1500 and first free payment (founders club), then refinance somewhere else at a lower rate. Why leave all that money on the table?

Food for thought, did the original depositor get their money back or was it non-refundable? If the dealer already made $500 from that deposit then take that off your offer price. Like I said, just something to consider.

It’s a fully refundable deposit, dealer has made no money from this car. I asked
