Depends what you are towing. Yes, a four wire plug is ridiculous on a rig with 5,000 pound rating, looks like the 2021 will take care of that mistake.
For people wanting a serious tow rig, its hard to beat one of the various full sized, four door trucks out there. In my case, I have two small, light weight camping trailers. One weighs in at 1,500 pounds, the other weighs in at 3,500 pounds. I've been towing my trailers with an F150. I think the Telluride will be able to handle either of my trailers, no problem. This gives me more options.
I agree with you. But at 5000 lbs.it is a different story. Had to add electronic break system at the cost of an additional $700.
