• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Eleven USB connectors, Ten ports for charging only. And the one port that accepts data connections will not accept a hub.

I found a way to connect 2 devices, switching between them with a touch of a button. I got a "printer sharing switch".
It is not a hub, but a switch. Widely available, Sabrent USB-SW30. I got mine at Amazon ($15):

A drawback is the two connectors for the USB devices are clunky Type B. For most things you will need to
hunt up an appropriate cable or an adapter. I'm using adapters to go from the Type B to a female Type A.

My use case is a music thumb drive in in port, my Android phone in the other.
Don't use it often, but Android Auto works through the switch.

HTH someone, Jon

No, I have that exact item from an earlier attempt. It works very well as a hub that can turn on/off its branches.

The key is it is a HUB. Kia's Telluride software will only work with a directly connected data device.
Hubs are themselves devices that create branches.
The data device is then no longer directly connected.

The switch I'm using now is not a hub, just a switch.

Ah, makes sense, the os would load up the hub as the connected device so then none of the usb drives wouldn't even connect. So yea a switch is the only way to trick the manager into accepting more than one usb drive.

I suspect that Kia limited things to 1 USB device so as to simplify its user interface. If more than on USB Data port existed, or the single Data port accepted a hub,
you could have things like music flash drive 1 & 2. More menus and what not. Or imagine both an Android phone and an Apple phone being connected.

Don't have my car yet, which one is the data port? The dash?
The middle one marked "USB"

These adapter would work nicely. Not likely a solution for me because my wife goes crazy when there are too many wires.
