Hi folks,
I've been here for all of one day, thanks for having me.
I got a call from my boss the other day and learned that it's time for me to trade in my existing company car on a new company car. Joy! I know the car I want, a Telluride. Joy! Then I found out that purchasing a Telluride is currently the most complicated, convoluted, confusing purchase situation I've run into since buying my first home...bummer.
Is there a summary of the existing situation somewhere, as opposed to picking up bits and pieces by hours of scanning threads? I guess what I'm looking to find out is:
1) Is the prospect of acquiring a Telluride without paying more than over $1000 above MSRP, and without a long wait possible, or probable? If so, what's the best way to find one?
2) If the above is unlikely, is the best option to order a 2021?
3) If so, what is the average wait time? 4-5 months?
I'm pretty flexible. I'm fine with 2020 or 2021. I'm looking for an LX or an S. I like glacier gray, moss and sangria. I might even take white if it meant getting a car earlier. Tow package would be nice, but not an absolute necessity as I can add a hitch later. Basically looking to get a car within the next two months and not get ripped off. Is this possible / probable?
Thanks for any feedback. I'm happy to stick around and contribute and learn, it's just sort of an overwhelming situation and I appreciate any help. After all, I have a full time job, I can't put 50 hours into this.
Burns
