If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Good Dealer Dealings - List Your Good Dealer Experience

We just bought our Kia Telluride yesterday 10/11 at Kia Downtown Los Angeles, CA for MSRP less $500 rebate for financing.

We purchased a 2021 Kia Telluride in EX Trim with Glacial White Pearl & Light Grey Interior. This is the only combination my wife wanted since it had the bench seating and light interior.

I negotiated via chat on and off for a week or two and watched this VIN since it popped up on Failcat on 9/24.

They did not try to upsell me on anything but lured me into financing for the rebate since I was willing to pay all cash.

Good luck to you all.
Wow, very impressed to hear that you got MSRP out of them. Nicely done.

Just ordered an SX Prestige Nightfall for MSRP in the Houston, TX area. I live in San Antonio and the markups are outrageous (easily $15k) so I was looking all over the state. This was literally the only dealership I found offering MSRP pricing.
Fort Bend Kia in Rosenberg Tx, ask for Chase

Hi, you mentioned you bought at MSRP. Is that with them keeping the 1500 KIA discount? Their dealership website

Nick Morales 909-740-6264
citruskia.net

MSRP + tax+license. Apply Incentives that are available at the time of delivery.

I hope this helps

citruskia.net is a Joke and I wouldn't buy from him! KIA Citrus Motors in Ontario Ca. is not an honest dealership.

I was wondering who you dealt with at Kia Downtown Los Angeles?

Just wanted to give a shoutout to Amanda and team at i25 Kia. Almost everything was done online ahead of time, signed a few papers when I arrived. Speaking of arrival, they picked me up from the airport 30 minutes away, thanks Gary! Everyone at the dealership was super friendly, they had my ride out front ready to go when I arrived. One of the salesmen said somebody offered him 5k above MSRP for my vehicle because it was exactly what they wanted. He told them no, we don't do that at this dealership. Highly recommend this dealership, no funny business and they bend over backwards to make you happy.

We also placed an order with Amanda after discovering this forum. Congrats on your Telluride! I cannot wait.

Awesome! If you have any questions about the process, let me know.

Thank you! Did you have i25 Kia install clear bra or ceramic coating before you picked up? How was the break in? Any recommendations? Still deciding if we want to fly in and drive back, or have it shipped.

I did have both applied while I was waiting to fly in, also ceramic window tint. They did a good job on all three, by all accounts. For the clear bra, make sure to tell Amanda you want the full hood done, I wouldn't recommend the normal coverage they offer because you will see a line on the hood. At first, she told me they couldn't do the full hood, but checked with the service department and they did it. I didn't do anything special for the break-in, modern car engines are pretty robust. I made sure to change up my cruise control speed every so often and didn't mash the gas pedal, that's all I really did. It's running great.

Depending on where you live, flying in might save you some money. I scored a one-way ticket for me and the wife, for $130 total. Airlines tickets are stupid cheap if you book far enough in advance. I planned a week after my ETA to make sure the vehicle arrived. Besides, most airlines are offering no-fee flight changes anyways. Not sure if you have gotten shipping quotes, but I know of another member in southern California who is paying about $750 to have it shipped. If you want to fly in, just let Amanda know and give her your flight info, she will have someone pick you up. Be warned, the driver cannot use the toll road, so it takes a good 40 minutes from the airport to get to the dealership, which is kind of in the middle of nowhere lol.

Another SA member, we have so many on here. Welcome.

Ordered in August from Moritz Kia Alliance in DFW area. No down, at MSRP, no add-ons, $150 documentation fee. Picked it up YESTERDAY!!! We were only there for 2 hours and that included the salesman (Andy) going over all the features twice. Really knows his stuff. Would HIGHLY recommend them. Originally ordered through Matt Ducote (Sales Manager) who is awesome and held our hands through all the process.

Fargo ND Kia is a good dealership. They are not gouging, are respectful and easy to work with. Also, don’t forget that this isn’t a good time for dealers. They can’t meet their expenses if the factory can’t provide them with an adequate flow of inventory for the Telluride and the whole process of waiting can be difficult for them if they are truly concerned about their customers.

Awesome! Thank you for all of the information 🙂 We are out in Seattle so I am guessing the delivery might be a little more. Things to consider...

Yeah, a good rule of thumb is $1/mile. Fly in and make a road trip out of it 😁

We are definitely considering that option. Love a good road trip! The only dilemma is the timing. If the car arrives during winter months, driving through snow/ice might not be so fun.

Good point, do you know what position you are in the wait queue?

Amanda did not say, she told us to not be surprised if we don’t hear back for 1-2 months. She also knows about this forum and seems to be getting customer orders because of it. The plus side is that they are higher volume versus all the dealers in WA.

Yeah, she said that to me too, she's very honest. She could still let you know how many SXP orders are in front of you though, then that would give you an idea on ETA based on their allocations. That's too funny, was in her office having that same convo about the forum, I told her I sent at least 2-3 people her way that I know of lol.

We will have to text her about our spot on the list. She also asked us to let her know if we send referrals.
