• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Just picked up my brand new Kia Telluride after a 3 month wait for delivery. I had less than 100 miles on it, pulled out of my garage for a drive, and the front sunroof disintegrated into a jillion pieces. Luckily I had the slider closed so all the broken glass is trapped up in the roof compartment. After some initial reluctance, it appears I may get some help from my local dealer to fix this. I will keep you posted on how long it takes, etc.!!

Glad no one was injured. It's hard to believe they don't sell the SX without that sunroof. Some of us don't want to drive around in a fishbowl, especially a potentially exploding fishbowl.

Yeah- tried to order it without the sunroofs, but as everyone knows- not an option!

This happened to several forum member here.

Driving on I-10 returning to Orlando from Baton Rouge. Light rain, 6pm, when all of a sudden i heard my sunroof explode and glass shards collapsed on the closed sunshade. I found a covered dry spot since i now had a hole in my roof. When the rain stopped i went to the hardware store and bought waterproof tape, duct tape and a tarp. I covered the hole with tape and the tarp and stayed overnight in MS.
My dealer has my Telluride and is waiting Kia Corporate. This is day 5 with no answer. Frustrating!!!

My 2021 Telluride sunroof exploded into a million pieces on my way to work. Scared the heck out of me. I was on a busy interstate, could have been a catastrophe.
