What would you do? I have a Telly ordered at msrp from a local dealer, with an ETA of January 29. A vehicle with the exact specs is on another lot about 45 minutes away, and they had offered it to me at $2000 over msrp before I placed my order. Not interested, thank you, and I respect and prefer to give my business to the dealership that made the decision to sell at msrp. But I’ve been watching the dealer inventory at the other dealer and the car is still there. It’s been there at least since some time in October. It is a less popular combo, Sangria with no Prestige package. They have 32 Tellurides in their inventory today. I’m contemplating waiting until the end of November and offering to buy it for the same out the door price as the one ordered. They may not be interested, but if they are, I need to be prepared to actually pull the plug. But honestly, I hate to bail on the good dealer and support the price manipulating dealer. Should I feel bad? I can wait, but it would be nice to have it two months sooner, and if it gets delayed more than a month, I could run into not having it before going to Florida in March. Any dealers want to weigh in?
