The Hawaiian Paradise tax. Then you have to pay the GET on the mark-up. Try Richmond Kia in CA. They sell at MSRP and are close to a port for shipping. There doesn't seem to be anyone in the greater LA area that sells at MSRP. It would be much cheaper to buy in CA and have it shipped for a couple grand.....Aloha guys! My first post! Put a refundable deposit with the local dealer but since I’m in Hawaii all dealerships are under one called Aloha Kia. I was told 3-6 months wait for my specific color ensemble but idk I’m still researching mainland dealerships to see if it’s worth it cuz they’re marking up $4950 above MSRP so yep $49k for an SX with butterscotch interior. Wondering what’s the average wait time anyone has been told in the past month? I was also told by the local dealer if there is one in transit that’s similar on their factory orders I would get first dibs so maybe sooner than 3 months?! We shall see!

There is plenty of info on this board. Put hilltop kia (I got it wrong in the original post - it is in Richmond CA) in the search tool and you will find out who the people on the board worked with along with their phone number. Thanks so much! I am in the same boat...The peanut has started to be pushed forward! We placed our order on Oct. 26, they were able to place the order with KIA on Nov. 5 and today, Nov. 12, we were told that KIA has accepted the order! Now the wait for an ETA and the patient wait for a VIN!
They are given an ETA when KFOS accepts the order. If it was actually accepted, they have an ETA already. Mine was accepted today and I have a January ETA.Thanks for the info! Is that typically when the dealer gives you the ETA or do they wait until there is a VIN assigned?
Mine was accepted today also, supposed to be January 2, looking forward to the new year, for MANY reasons!!They are given an ETA when KFOS accepts the order. If it was actually accepted, they have an ETA already. Mine was accepted today and I have a January ETA.
I just emailed my dealer and he said he'd find it and send it to me tomorrow. Thanks all!Mine was accepted today also, supposed to be January 2, looking forward to the new year, for MANY reasons!!
Has different name currently attached@StephenCantrelle by any chance would you mind seeing if the initials AJ are associated with vin: 5XYP5DHC5MG140485? Thank you for your time.
Depends on the dealers allocation. Big dealers get more allocationsHow does a dealer’s current order list impact a customer order?
What do you mean? Where did you get that information? My dealer ME007 has several Tellurides with VINs assigned. Does that mean all of those have to be manufactured before mine gets accepted?
See answer #1.Any other impact related to the dealer? Dealer size, etc?
