Order to delivery time

OK, thanks for checking. The dealer said he is still waiting on the "window sticker". Any idea of generally how long it takes once a VIN # is identified before delivery ... in the Philadelphia PA area?

When a Vin is generated the Window Sticker is as well at the same time... something odd is happening with your exact Telluride... I have not seen this before

On your specific Vin I can not see any information on my side. You will have to check with your dealer.

The peanut has started to be pushed forward! We placed our order on Oct. 26, they were able to place the order with KIA on Nov. 5 and today, Nov. 12, we were told that KIA has accepted the order! Now the wait for an ETA and the patient wait for a VIN!

So I just put in an order at Fort Bend Kia near Houston. They asked for a $500 deposit. They sent me a copy of the receipt, but I didnt have to sign anything and when I asked for proof that my order is in the system they said: "Kia never sends us anything until the vehicle is actually in production. But our GM entered it into the system this morning"

Is this normal? Feels weird to not get any type of confirmation.

For those wondering I got an Ebony Black SX/P with a tow package with Dune Brown Interior. This is my first post!

That's up to your dealer to tell you. There seems to be a problem as @StephenCantrelle can't even see it in the system. They might have to call the regional office to find out as it does seem as it was there at one time because the info was pulled.

Welcome! It seems every dealer is on their own as to how they do it. Some people order over the phone! We were pushing about having something confirming the order and pricing from the dealer, and we got something signed by both us and the sales person. $1500 refundable deposit. Msrp pricing. No extras other than floor mats. I asked to be let know when they put the orders in and when the order was accepted by Kia, and he let me know. He said he will let us know when there is an ETA, which is before it goes into production. They may just not want to be pestered by customers.

How do I know when a VIN# has been issued and is there somewhere I can look that up? Also is there anything else at all that I/we can do to track our order or at least an eta that we can count on. I ordered 0n 8/30 and have been told by the dealer Dec 1 and now Jan 1. Love the Telluride but this whole thing scares me. I'm pretty patient, especially for such a nice vehicle . I doubt I am going to if it gets into 6 months like ive been seeing some of these. Thanks Dave Glick

Awesome, thanks. Three month wait. Not bad from what I’ve read. The salesperson said I’m looking at close 6 months. Hoping that production gets rolling and I get it sooner. I can live without a car payment for another few months lol
