Thank you so much for your response. I’m so bad with detecting vehicle issues just wanted to know what to look for. My hrs and always drives my vehicle and says did you notice that noise? I’m like no, what are you talking about. Lol.Every person that's reported a vibration thus far has had all-wheel drive models. Trim level doesn't matter.
The few FWD owners that have chimed in have said they have no such issue. That being said, there are apparently very few FWD out there.
I just tested a FWD 'S' and it seems fine, so I'm getting swapped out of the AWD that I purchased that had the vibration and bad transfer case.
Thank you soo much!FordRN, if you go through the posts, you'll see descriptions of what we're experiencing. It's an obvious vibration. Most of us experience it at speeds between 67 and 76MPH or so.
All right, gang. I pulled trigger on the FWD 'S' (Ebony Black w/ black leather). Test drive was perfect. Same price as my trashed LX AWD, so the swap was simple.
The dealer is renewing our three Six Flags season passes for my troubles. That costs more than one month's truck payment. His idea, not mine. I thought that was pretty cool.
My salesman was aces through the whole ordeal. He told me on the side, Kia must address the AWD issue and doesn't see how dealers can still sell them if they know there is a problem.
So again, to those with trouble-free AWD and FWD, I hope they always remain that way. To my fellow TelluVibes, I hope Kia resolves your issue quickly or you work something else out as I did.
I'll continue to watch this thread and others on this great forum. It's important we share information like we've been doing, as it can be a big help!
Glad your dealer stepped up to the plate and did the right thing. Good luck with your new ride! All right, gang. I pulled trigger on the FWD 'S' (Ebony Black w/ black leather). Test drive was perfect. Same price as my trashed LX AWD, so the swap was simple.

Which dealer you at in Cincy?Picked up my Telluride from the service department after 16 days... Here is what happened...
1) Found slight bend in passenger rear axle and replaced it. Did no good.
2) Drove without rear drive shaft and verified that vibration stopped.
3) Were told to check transfer case oil for metal filings - found what looked like gold paint flakes. Kia was interested, then not interested.
4) Tried to get rear drive shaft balanced and no one around Cincinnati could do it.
5) Kia told service to replace rear drive shaft. It will arrive at or about October 8th
6) Told me to pick up Telluride.
I purchased this vehicle on June 8th and the problem was there right away. It will be 4 months since purchase before the new drive shaft will be installed. One Third of a year wasted in trying to get Kia to first believe/admit there was a problem and then trying to find a solution. I am not convinced that the vehicle will ever be what it should have been from the beginning.
I must say that this latest service department has worked hard to get this solved. Every step of the way they must do what Kia says to do.
Bummed for you. The facebook Telluride page has several owners who have been successful in utilizing the lemon law. https://m.facebook.com/story/graphq...=UzpfSTU3MjE5MDg2NzpWSzo2MTcwMDEzNzIwMzY5MzE=CincyTech,. you should copy and paste your last post to the narrative of the NHTSA complaint you need to file!
