• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... 2020 Telluride AWD rear end jerking thumping and vibrating

Ask away, or better yet use your keyboard and go read the start of the problem in this thread. I've been more than accommodating to them. No one is disagreeing with what I have shared here, its all 100% factual. The issue is around how Kia proposes to fix it. They plan to f*ck me over with a way below market buy back option, or CHARGE me an outrageous amount to give them the ability to replace the vehicle that they have yet to be able to fix, still under warranty, etc. Forget the miles, its under 100% warranty. A customer shouldn't have to pay to use the warranty.
Calm down. I am not saying anyone is lying or being untruthful. I do not have time to read all 58 pages. It sucks you are disappointed in you telluride.

I get you on the tax and markup situation. Are you saying the problem was initially documented with Kia after 2,400 miles?

Perhaps lemon law is all that is left if the issue was initially identified early enough.
Yeah, I already had 24k miles before the issue was documented. My state says 2 years or 24K so thats where it got me. Otherwise it would be a shut case. The dealership has been trying their best, they are just so hamstrung by Kia corporate its crazy.

Hey defects happen. Hell, I still want a telluride. I bought a top of the line 2021 Sorento AFTER all of this happened, for my wife. My issue is that a company pays millions in marketing to get and sustain sales and customers. Whats their ideal customer? Buys the big tickets, repeat business, brand loyalty. They have all three of those with me and somehow they are still trying to f*ck me over to the point I wont buy from them ever again, AND make sure I tell everyone and their mother how bad the whole experience was. Companies are so lost anymore its crazy.

It's very sad because without the customer ur business is in the shitter. I have bought two 2015 Sedona minivan from kia one SX one SX-L. Now I have the 2020 Telluride. I like the drive of the minivan better. I like the Telluride drive up to 80 km after that mine drive like shit over 100 km. Thinking of trade it in for the 2022 model. I like the vehicle I think I may have get a bad one because I Kno other people who have and they like em. So I am going to take another chance on it fingers crossed. Good service went out with the 90s that's for sure. Big time....

Hi all, I’ve had my 2021 SXP AWD for a week and a half and we’re on our first road trip in it and it’s completely smooth until I hit around 65 and then there’s a noticeable vibration in the steering wheel between 65 and 75. Is this “the vibration?” It’s annoying enough that I googled “Kia telluride vibration” and found this thread and now I’m freaked out.

My condolences, you’ve won the Telluvibe jackpot. I suggest you start reading this thread from beginning to end starting with post #1

Yikes. I’ve read back a bunch now. It’s annoying but not totally intrusive so I think I can wait until Kia acknowledges it because I absolutely can’t have this thing in the shop for months or even weeks right now.

do not even dream that Kia will admit it and make a revocable company.

So I just came back from my local dealer after service.

They re-balanced the tires for the 3rd time and said to take it to the dealer where I bought the car from - which I had done but they also just re-balanced the tires and told me vibration was gone.

They said there is nothing more they can do as vibration could be related to flat tires or bad rims as it comes out of dealers pocket, not KIA Canada.

The dealer who sold me the car would not even reply to my emails on inquires. I think their target is one car per customer his lifetime and that’s it.

I told this dealer that I was getting cold shoulder from the selling dealer and if they were not willing to address this in KIA‘S great 10 year warranty, my only option left was to go to KIA Canada - to which they said ‘be my guest’ and hung up the phone.

I cannot believe KIA dealers’ customer service. I have owned many Hondas and Nissan and though cars did have little problems, dealers owned the problems and kept trying to fix until I was satisfied.

Honda even looked me up after reading a thread in a forum about an issue after warranty and fixed the car for free - Did I mention the warranty was over ?

People who do not have this or other issues with their tellurides need not chime in about their superb experiences. I am happy for you that you don’t have issues and sincerely hope that it stays that way.

It’s the people who hit these jack pots and how they are treated. I guess you want to see how good a car company is, find out people who got the defective ones and how they get treated.

So buyer beware - if you get a defective one, your heart could be broken too.

Hey, have thought about contacting local news people at all? You know the ones that help the people by putting companies on the spot? Like in NYC, we have Arnold Diaz and the guy that does "Help Me Howard" segments.

this thread is making me to not push through with my order! are there still vibration issue on vehicles bought thia year?

For every vibration issue there are hundreds of Tellurides with no vibration issues.

I wouldn’t let this hold you back. Sure, it could be that you have the issue, but the odds are against it.

No issues yet, knock on wood. 2021 SX-P AWD picked up in early June with about 3000 miles on it now. Just test drive it on the highway before you sign papers. And in the remote chance the problem happens later on and can’t be fixed you will probably have a solid used market to fall back on.

Way to downplay my frustrations and disappointments, TheNip73.

Good advice I guess, based on odds.

Good luck.

Would someone buy the used car if you disclosed that the vehicle had vibration issue that could not be fixed?

Would people here be dispensing the same advice to the new owner of that vehicle when he shows up on this forum complaining about this issue

Overly sensitive much? @TheNip73 comment was in response to @mrmiyagee, not aimed towards you at all.

Just telling you how I analyzed the situation when I bought my car. Any new car could have different problems. If it’s a severe problem hopefully it would get fixed. If it’s more of an annoying thing where the car is still safe and functional to drive then maybe the next person wouldn’t care as much. They would certainly have the chance to test drive it. Nothing is risk free but the high demand for used cars and especially used Tellurides made me feel better about it.
