All of the parts are available now. Hitch receiver, plug & play wiring harness, bumper cover, etc. When you order the parts KIA sends the rear latch assembly with you order for no additional cost. My dealer here in California kept saying nothing was available. I ordered everything from Premier KIA in Branford, Connecticut. They are the most knowledgeable dealer I have dealt with. The guy in parts knows what you need and can get it done. Call 877-529-3561. I installed everything myself, but it is not a job for a novice. I’m a certified mechanic. The rear latch assembly is plug n play as well. Simply removing the factory one and installing new one.Below is the part number I ordered but that was a year ago. I would check with the dealer or on-line provider to make sure it has not been superseded. Since nothing electrical is provided, I would expect that it fits the MY 24 also.

When did you order the parts? I just asked today and everything is still on back order. All of the parts are available now. Who did you ask? Did you call the dealer I indicated? I have had mine for months. When did you order the parts? I just asked today and everything is still on back order.
It is on a nation wide back orderWhen did you order the parts? I just asked today and everything is still on back order.
Not sure what "it" is, but FWIW I just put a wiring kit on my non-towing-package '24 EX. Part number is s9f67 ac702 and it includes the plug-in cable with the 7-wire connector in the rear and the under-dashboard brake controller cable. I ordered about a month ago and was told that 240 of these kits had just landed in California, were being boxed and I'd get mine in a week or two. That is what happened. List price was $208.It is on a nation wide back order
Have you found a bumper cover for this? I ordered one the dealership said will fit but doesn’t. It’s S9F61-AU660Here are some installed pics of OEM hitch S9F61-AU000 with the Hyundai Palisade 7-Pin. (SXP X-Pro) Must say, hitch installation was easy and I like the slightly higher mount the OEM hitch has, but I am a little disappointed on how 7-pin connector seems to get swallowed up by the cover. Hoping Kia releases a hitch cover for OEM hitch similar to the 2000-2022 cover that fits. If they do not or if the cover they release does not fit old OEM Hitch, I’ll go back and cleanup my cuts more and cut a little bit more away in front of Harness. Regardless, I’m ecstatic hitch fits great and I have a plug and play harness. Also, would like to thank Tyger23 for confirming Palisade Harness worked and posting installation instructions.
Note: If any one wants to know, I used hyper-dip Gloss Black on bumper. I plan on adding to 2-more coats in near future(once humidity drops) to even out rear bumper. Front looks great and will upload photos to black out thread after next car wash.View attachment 30753
Did you find a part number for this bumper cover? How stupid is this. At the dealership yesterday. Saw this. 2023 telluride brochure. Looks like the right bumper cover so I went to the parts department. Not in system. He Called kia. Nothing. Ridiculous
Any luck with the bumper cover fitting? I purchased the AU660 and it did not fit my 24I believe the part number for the tow hitch bumper cover for ‘23/‘24 is S9F61-AU660. I found the attached picture in another thread.
S9F61-AU060 is the trailer hitch number cover for 2019-2022.
I searched S9F61-AU660 and found on a fe Kia auto part sites that stated the part was for the ‘23 and ‘24, but shipping was high.
I talked to my dealership today and they did not know it was available. Because I called they ordered a bunch today. but they stated it looked like a 5 week back-order. Hence, I went ahead and ordered from Mykiaparts.com.

Hello Everyone,
The Good News:
- I was able to successfully order the 2023/2024 Tow Hitch Bumper Cover (S9F61-AU160) from mykiaparts.com.
- Can confirm S9F61-AU160 fits the 2023 SX-P Pro.
Other Good News:
- The original Telluride Hitch, S9F61-AU000 fits the 2023 SX-P Pro
- Hyundia Tow Hitch Harness: S8F67-AC400 works perfectly with my 2023 SX-P Pro
- I installed both in June 2023 via cutting the bumper cover.
The annoying part
- I have been waiting for the OEM Tow Hitch Bumper Cover for the 2023 Telluride since I have owned the vehicle (Jan 2023). I order last month and just installed (S9F61-AU160) this weekend.
The Bad News:
While all the parts fit the Telluride, the OEM Tow Hitch Bumper Cover ((S9F61-AU160)) does NOT line up perfectly with S9F61-AU000. Picture 1
- I was so annoyed with the gaps, I placed black duct tape over the gaps. (Picture 2)
- While the harness door does flip open, it does rub the (S9F61-AU160) bumper cover when I open.
I am thinking about going back to the cut bumper cover (Picture 3 & 4) or 3D printing a U-Plate of some kind to fill in the gaps.
I would appreciated any thoughts and advice how I should proceed.
I did not have to loosen/lower my hitch to get the cover on.Wow you're right. That looks really bad. I guess they slightly moved the harness location. I haven't installed my bumper plate yet because you have to loosen the bolts to do so. Can you confirm that you had to do that?
I just hold mine up and you're totally right. If I were you I'd go back to the hacked up original one. The reason it looks bad primarily is because the harness is off center, it looks like a mistake. The tape makes it look worse. Tape on a car is never a good look. Actually--an alternative first may be to try to cut out something to fill the entire space black. You could either tape it to the harness door or, in my case, I can just adhere it directly to the bumper plate since I have no harness that I need to access. That way you don't have the hacky cutouts, nor do you have the off-center look.
Since my dealer threw away my old bumper plate (!!) that means I need to buy the old one for $102 and then do the manual cut outs. Bummer.
Thanks for the followup. I also often forget these are close-ups. When you're walking or driving behind the vehicle, this is such a low dark area that the detail isn't near as obvious.I did not have to loosen/lower my hitch to get the cover on.
- I just had to fit the bottom of the hitch cover in first and use my full hand to bend the hitch cover to slide the tabs in under the back bumper cover.
Upon further inspection, one the reasons my alignment may be so off is the harness holder is bent a little. I noted the bend when I first bought the hitch off eBay way back in early 2023. Figured it was do to shipping so never made a big deal.
Anyways, I did redo the tape with a single piece that covers the outer edges and it looks way better. Especially with a little salt spray you cannot tell. I will post a picture next time I get a chance.
Regardless, I will try a more permanent solution in the spring.
if you would like my old cut out cover, let me know and we can figure something out.
So where do we stand with OEM bumper cover? I've seen S9F61-AU160, S9F61-AU660, and S9F61-AU760 listed in the posts above. When I look on a few KIA parts websites, I can find S9F61-AU160 and S9F61-AU660 but fitment years are not listed anywhere. I can't even find S9F61-AU760 so assume it's a typo or mistake. TIA... Like many of you, the bumper cover is the last piece I need for a complete OEM towing setup on my '23 Telluride S.
Also, I thought for sure by now someone would have posted a YouTube video of the harness installation. Lol Anyone know of one I haven't found yet? Instructions look pretty easy, just always helps to see an example first.
Awesome! Thanks for confirming. Does that mean you were able to straighten out your Hitch bracket? The photos above show some pretty wicked gaps. I'll order my cover today if so.Hello cdyer 2336: I can confirm S9F61-AU160 fits the 2023 SX-P Pro and covers the original OEM Telluride Hitch, S9F61-AU000. Also, this thread (The 2023 Towing Saga Part 2 - Finally good news!) has harness step by step installation instructions with pictures.
I came here to report that I had success without wicked gaps.Awesome! Thanks for confirming. Does that mean you were able to straighten out your Hitch bracket? The photos above show some pretty wicked gaps. I'll order my cover today if so.
