• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... so last night someone tried to break into my telluride with the crowbar type thing that slides down the window to unlock the door but the alarm went off and they must've bolted. They didn't unlock the door which made me wonder if there's some kind of sensor that detects things like that. My husband's car was broken into the same way (older car than my telly) and his alarm didn't go off til they opened the door. I tried looking at the specs and features of the telly but couldn't find an answer online anywhere.

Wow..that's unfortunate. Not sure about what sensor triggered the alarm...but I remember reading the Owners Manual and they have a section on the Theft Alarm System.

Attached a snippet from the manual. They must have opened the door to trigger the alarm.

Maybe they triggered the rear occupancy sensor?
