Thanks for sharing the information, I'm from central NY, same cold as your location. My dealership also suspects it's from intake manifold but they were not able to find exact position. It seems that Kia only reimburses warranty work if the dealership can find exactly which part makes the noise. Kia is not sending out engineers due to COVID. Another thing I found is that the noise disappear if I rev up the engine, so I suspect it's somehow related with vacuum leak, when the weather is cold the gasket might not seal well which cause some leak in the initial 30 second, once the manifold warms up the seal is back to normal.I have the exact same issue. Kia Telluride SXP. I live in Vermont (cold weather). Left the car with the dealership and got a message that they are contacting the Kia engineers and that the sound is coming from the intake. The car has 1000 miles on it owned it for less than a month.
