Same in SWFL..min of 5K over sticker + up to 2400 in dealer charges and add ons. Complete highway robbery... But someone is paying it....
I'd easily drive out of state to pay MSRP and 199.00 doc fee. What a bunch of gangsters...
What is really odd is you can buy a in stock loaded Palisade under sticker in the same town !

I just like the look of the Palisade. The inside is nice. The grill kills that truck.

This help hold the values at least. I like to look at the brightside of things.

It holds the value for now, which helps those who may decide to sell in the shorter term. At some point supply will catch up with demand. Then value will normalize and what is happening now will only hurt the equity for those who paid these extreme markups.

Hendrick Kia in Cary is the best place to purchase from. There were no mark ups.

I bought the S a year and a half ago before all the nonsense started and got it 1k below sticker. There are other dealers within reasonable proximity that are at or below MSRP with a few discounts. But using them for service and seeing that just itritates me.

All the dealers in the SF Bay Area and LA Area are charging anywhere between $2k - $6k mark up above the MSRP. I called a dealer in Houston, TX and they are not doing that. CA is the only state that it is charging extra for this car. I guess is the law of supply and demand.

Salesmen came back with insane numbers. I asked what he was basing that on and have gave me some dealer approved addendum ( fancy way of saying Markup) $8000 over sticker!
I literally laughed in his face, this isn’t some limited edition super car!

New here looking to purchase a White SX or SXP in Central PA. Went to fred beans kia in mechanicsburg and they wanted 8K over sticker. 5K for adjustment and 3K for this BS appearance package. I got them to drop the 5k adjustment but I refuse to pay over sticker. I'm a serious buyer. I'm willing to travel 200 or so miles to get a good deal. I also called browns in manassas va and they wanted 12K over sticker and got upset when I laughed at them. So if anyone has a lead on a White SX or SXP at msrp let me know.


Also I think if Kia allowed this markup this is a bad move for the brand in the long run.
