• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Do you have any complaints about your Telluride?

Don’t own one yet, but I don’t like the plastic trim that’s around the wheel wells, extends along the rocker panels and around the rear bumper facia. With time, unless it’s detailed with 303 or similar product, it will fade and begin to turn gray from UV exposure.

So my biggest complaint is the plastic trim around the body. I would have willingly paid another $1K to get painted body molding.

I also wish they had put auto dimming mirrors and placed accent lighting around the cup holders. None of these are big deals but the plastic trim needs to go! I love everything else on the vehicle so far.

Sounds like you two certainly agree on that plastic trim!

I don't mind plastic trim on some vehicles, but, for whatever reason, Kia's trim seem to fade much faster than other vehicles. If you look at Kia vehicles that are a few years old the black plastic trim is already fading. It is especially bad here in AZ with the hot sun and uv rays. It's one of the things keeping me from pulling trigger on a Kia. Once that trim starts to fade, the vehicle looks old and cheap.

Is there anyway to restore the trim once it has faded?

I have a 2014 Sorento purchased in early 2013. So it is now six years old. I maintain the exterior fairly regularly, but I am not fanatical about it. I just have it washed every 5-6 weeks and hand polished twice a year. The plastic trim is in excellent condition.

Cool. Garaged?

I can’t stand the 18” machine finished wheels on the EX models. I am looking to doing aftermarket soon.

Anyone else bothered by the way the center 3rd row seatbelt hangs down from the roof of the cabin when not in use? There is a holder for the seatbelt clip but the anchor clip still hangs down loose and looks bad IMO.

I'm seriously considering the SX. I'm not happy about lack of key fob remote start. I have no interest in paying for a service for the APP after two years. I'm not a big app user anyway. Turn on your phone, wait for app to load, then sift through options to select start...... is WAY too inconvenient compared to pushing the button of fob. Am I misinformed or this lack of fob in fact true?

Kia will gladly sell you an add on module that allows for remote start from the key fob.

I don’t own yet, but these seemed to be issues for me:
1) remote start on key fob. I am okay to use on app but not willing to pay for that ever I think it’s a basic functionality should have been part of current design irrespective of trim.
2) 3rd row power folding seats. I know this is something is available in Palisade, but just like Telluride more.

Seems you aren't getting a Telluride then.
