Ordering for Kdealer has open up (NOT KFOS) for the LX and S models.

**** Correction this is for 4 of each that my store is allocated**** Still a great sign that is open even if limited

2021 Incentives are up internally.

Same as 2020 with the exception of the 1,000 rebate if financing through Kia at a higher rate than advertised rate.
The 2021 is now 500 instead of the 1,000.

Will edit this post when EX and SX opens up but would imagine we are finally here..

just so I’m clear, any 2020 orders in kdealer have to get reentered in kdealer as 2021s? This news means than you are able to re-enter or enter your 2021 kdealer orders for the models you listed? So when the SX kdealer opens it will allow the dealer to re-enter their queue for that model?

For those of us that will be financing, the rebate is now only $500? Did the rates slide down at least? And is this for every single 2021 or will the 2020s they converted to the 2021s delivering now be eligible for the $1000 rebate? Thanks Stephen

These are for all 2021's for month of July.. at this point all 2021 with the exception of Nightfall editions should be 2020's that got converted.. rates stay the same

My apologies if you are asking specifically about the 2020 it is still $1,000 until the 6th... should stay the same for July

If you already had an order placed and agreed upon price then talk with your dealer. Mine is still honoring the 2020 price and incentives from March, when I had ordered. Unless something better comes along in August, my ETA...and I think there’s about a snowball’s chance in hell of that happening. I’m the type where I think everything in life is negotiable. Won’t budge off msrp? Ok, how about free oil changes or 20% off some accessory I want...humor me, anything. It may get you nowhere but can’t hurt to ask.

No you're good Stephen. It just seems that KIA in their infinite wisdom decided to apply every 2021 financial adjustment (msrp increases and now incentives) to the 2020 models that they graciously converted to 2021s. 'Unfair' is a lame assessment but it definitely isn't appropriate for those of us that ordered in 2019. I just hope they don't pull this same $hit when it comes time to honor this great warranty they advertise.

Nightcrawler you're correct. There may be wiggle room there through our respective dealers. Its just in bad taste imo that a company would expect to have customers with paid deposits swallow two price increases and in the 11th hour when they start making these final 2020 deliveries (as 2021 models) to now take a hit on an incentive. I get it, I don't have to buy the product but it could be handled differently for deposited orders when KIA knew they had all these sold orders on the hook since last year. These vehicles need to get here sooner than later bc they're just getting more expensive while we all wait for them. Can't imagine how those folks who have to pay a markup feel. Crazy environment right now

If you’re financing you probably want the lower interest rate which doesn’t come with a rebate anyway. So the 500 dollar reduction doesn’t do anything for you either way.

Very true but would entirely depend on down payment, length of loan, etc. For me, taking the 1k at a higher rate works out to my advantage, albeit a slight one. I also plan to pay ahead assuming I stay fortunate enough to be able to do so with this crazy world we’re living in...

Did the number of allocations for July get sent out today? We had an appointment to come in and put in an order for a 2021 today (they were taking internally even though KFOS is not open yet), and we got a call from our sales guy that said that they are no longer taking orders because their allocations are lower than expected. Ugh...

Not KFOS but though Kdealer. It is for only a weekly allocation and for only LX and S models
