Hey all, first post here but have been a lurker for some time. My wife is due for a new car soon (currently in a 2015 Grand Cherokee Summit) and with our expanding family it's been decided our next needs to be a three row that can accommodate up to 6 in comfort.
I've run the gamut between all of the options available out there - full size body on frame both premium and luxury segments (expedition, tahoe, yukon denali, qx80, navigator, escalade) as well as the mid-size crossover segment (grand cherokee l, aviator, q7, pathfinder, qx60, etc) and keep coming back to the Telluride. The combination of aggressive exterior, premium interior, features and overall value makes it hard to ignore.
I've read many of you are dealing with paying OVER MSRP due to the current environment (which I'm not willing to do) but wanted to see if anyone has had luck buying existing inventory off the lot at, or even slightly below MSRP? We're in the DC metro area and have several dealerships between DC/MD/VA to choose from some of which have decent inventory levels (currently, at least).
For reference, we're looking at SX AWD + prestige package + nightfall edition + tow package in either black or moss green + dune brown nappa interior. Will likely lease at first so we have an out, just in case she doesn't like it for whatever reason.
Looking forward to leveraging all of the knowledge and experience to be found here, thanks!
