In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. Fog Light Question

Based on the dimensions they are my front runners to fit in the same spot as the OE fog lights. Stage Series 6" SAE/DOT White Light Bar (one)

Just not sure if I want fog or driving lights.
I don’t know. I live in NYC and light bars across the bottom grille have started to become a thing here now. Especially on minivans and CRVs so I guess that’s why I find anything other than OEM unappealing and tacky looking.

Yea 2 good choices. I'm torn between those as well lol..looking at the pictures it's really a toss up based on the kind of roads you are normally on. The fog gives that wider angle but less through unlike the driving that gives a more straight and longer throw. I'm leaning more to the driving one

EX doesnt come with Fog lights unless you added it to your order but their website says fog light is coming soon. This must be dealer installed. I have a 2021 EX-P and it has no fog lights.

I am considering having them put on my EX but just wiring them for always on with the Auto lights setting. That wan no need to switch out the lever.

It does not. I have EX Nightfall and was told they won't install because will void warranty.

I apologize if I missed the thread on here already, but I don't recall seeing any posts about this in the previous 5 pages. Has anyone figured out a way to enable the fog lamps & DRL's w/out running the headlamps?
I have 2017 Silverado and can run my fog lamps w/out the headlamps (standard/OEM feature) and would like to do the same on my wife's 2021 Kia Telluride SX. Curious if someone has found a way to jail break the lighting setup on here.

I just want to say... I agree that to not have fog lights on all Tellurides, is silly.

Meanwhile, I will be installing some , one way or another...

I may add some driving lights too, if fog lights go well. Driving lights get a little trickier , since you need to make sure you never have more than 4 lights on at one time to be legal.

Wonder if they consider the dual lamps on the EX/SX as 2 lights then the DRLs would be 6???

I think I originally misunderstood your comment.

I had a truck, that had head lights , and fog lights from the factory... If you have both of those on, that's considered four lights. I called police and asked about driving lights, and I was very clearly told that if I had Driving lights, Fog Lights, and headlights on all at the same time, it would be illegal. So, basically the correct setup, is you can either have the Fog Lights on, or the Driving Lights, but not both... and Head lights are always headlights, never really disabling them, or driving around with only Fog and Driving lights on.

I am leaning towards DRLs (or fogs to be wired as DRLs) because i really don't want need another switched set. I hope to wire them to come on with the amber driving lights (always on) versus only on when headlights activated. My 2015 Durango did. I think I found a harness on ebay that will let it work that way. Fingers crossed.

This is exactly what I have been trying to figure out. Please report back if you're able to successfully rewire fog lamps to run w/out requiring the headlights to be activated. Personally, I would want the ability to switch them on w/out having them turn on automatically with the DRLs.

Well after tonight...severe thunderstorms and wind...I have decided to double my efforts to figure out how to add lighting. My LEDs are generally great but with a wind driven rain they need a little help. Need to add a little more peripheral lighting.

I don’t see a wire harness on the ex. I’m working on my headlights now. Have to remove the whole number.

This is probably a Canada-only model in the video. They have slight variations to US trims, not sure if fog lights is one of them, but seems a reasonable choice for KIA Canada to make.
