• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Headlight Led Upgrade

@Twelvolt LED lights coming in tomorrow! So excited to get them installed, just hoping I don’t f*ck anything up with my fat hands, lol.
Will you please post some before and after? I have changed mine to another brand, but still keep thinking I should get these
I’m curious if you think swapping the license plate bulbs to LEDs improves the backup camera at night.
I did and find it was pretty dramatic improvement. Even my wife noticed the difference. I ordered the ones listed in one of the forums early on and they are great. It's not a very difficult swap out either, even having to remove the panel.

I unfortunately didn’t take pics of the before, but I can most definitely take pics of the new ones, might be this weekend before I get a chance to though.

The Twelvolts are not as bright as HIDs, but in my opinion they are just the right amount of brightness. I wanted something that felt better than the OEM Halogens but no so bright that I would blind oncoming traffic and I’m not trying to power a projector at a drive-in movie. I also felt I didn’t see Any dark spots and the visibility up to 300ft in front was more than adequate. It also helps the look that they match the white DRLs.

I’ll start digging in the forum for the LEDs for the license plate bulbs. If you have the link that would be great. I would rather do that easy swap over the reverse lights that looks like I have to take the rear door panel off.

These are what I purchased for the license plate LEDs. They seemed much brighter when I turned them on in my garage.

it does improve it...i just had the back ups done and still had the original lighting for the plates and then swapped them out and could see the difference when backing out.

I’m convinced, license plate upgrade it is. I’ll start looking for a deal on the Sylvania Zevo 194 6000k Super bright LED 2-pack, and if not I’ll get these. Hopefully I’ll be able to back out of my driveway at night with better visibility. 😊

I swapped the license plate bulbs and the backup camera was a little better. I went with the common Sylvania Zevo 194 6000k Super bright LED 2-pack. Certainly a lot easier than the reverse lights. I will still likely do the reverse lights at some point but this was easy and made a little difference, enough to make out the edge of the driveway a little better. Left with the amber glow is the OEM bulbs, the right are the white light LEDs.

Just replaced the stock halogen on the EX to the Twelvevolt 9005/9006 LEDs.

I took off the large O rings on the new LEDs and installed the smaller ones. To better reach the passenger side bulb, I used a 10mm socket with a 3" extender to remove a bolt holding down the windshield washer reservoir. Then I just moved the reservoir over a little. Made it a lot easier.

I purchased these from amazon and they do not work for the 2020 Telluride.
I bought these originally...https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XHD4HV3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 but I wasn't happy with them and purchased the Diode Dynamics. They are quite a bit more expensive but to me they were worth it as they worked so much better.

So happy I got pushed to the 2021 EX-P because they came with Led headlights and to my surprise, amber daytime running lights too!

Recently installed the Twelvolt headlights in my 2020 S and am quite happy with the lights and also the service from the company. The Youtube video referenced in this thread is invaluable. My install time was about 20 minutes (patience is mandatory here). Additionally, after the install, I noticed that the drivers side light did not have the same beam as the passenger side. I sent a few pictures and chatted with Chelsea. A replacement was sent right away, I just installed it tonight and I'm feeling so much safer driving at night.

I also purchased the backup lights, but haven't installed those yet. I'm not overly concerned about visibility when backing up, but I figured that it could only get better.

I installed the Twelvolt lights, too. What an upgrade from those halogens. OMG. The Halogens were a major safety concern.

Thank you for the photos. Can you see farther?

With all $(!) going on in the world, we all need to laugh a bit more.

LOL....I'm all for humor, especially on these chats where things sometimes get heated up. I'm glad he can see "morther".

I don’t get it. In the pictures above your post, the halogen lights look brighter and focused exactly on the center of that concrete driveway—as they should be driving down the road. As for the LEDs, they definitely look whiter, but not as bright as the halogens or focused at all. It just looks like a wash of white light to me. Don’t see how it makes driving any safer.
