• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my SUV" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your leather interior, please post in the Interior section - and so on... Headlight Led Upgrade

I wanted to follow up with my experience on the Sealight series 3 LED replacement lamps. I'm about 2 years in, and one of the lamps has "soft-failed" - by that I mean I get a "check headlight" notice in the instrument cluster display but the headlamp still puts out light. I can't say for sure, but it appears to be dimmer than the other lamp (maybe 1/2 output).

I'm going to read through the recent posts and see if there is a consensus on what the best option is 2 years on. Hopefully things have improved and there is a clear choice, but maybe I will end up with some other non-LED alternative.
Mine just started that this weekend. I have the Auxito LED headlamps with about 13 months and 18k miles on them. To be sure it wasn't anything else, I switched the headlamp to the other side, and my dash notification pinged the side I moved it to. I also believe the one that is triggering the notification to be dimmer.

Did you find a solution? I may just end up ordering another set, and keeping the 'good' one as a spare.

Call the shop at +19049559844 and talk to Chelsea. I specifically asked if they could ship to memeber and they said they would. The bulbs they use are custom manufactured for their shop. The ones I got were 6000k and are bright as hell.
Twelvolt has unfortunately gone out of business.

Same exact thing happened to one of my 1 year old auxito lamps last week, car starts alerting relentlessly that a bulb is out, I mean it beeps forever until you change it,lol. The one it indicated was dead still produced light but it was much less than the other. Ordered another pair as I have been very happy with the light output and pattern and they don't cost a fortune, a one year life span however is not so great.

This is the most accurate description for anything ever. Hahahaha

Agree with you completely, and just ordered a replacement set. Glad to know i wasn't alone with this. Thanks.
